Even though the store was quite busy, I was delighted to find that the staff were happy to take the time to help me find something suitable, explain the returns policy to me, and answer my many questions, some of which were distinctly awkward. Once you get through the narrow doorway (which was a bit tricky as I had No. 2 in the buggy at the time), the store is nicely laid out and the stock is neatly displayed in size order which makes it much easier to do the 'smash and grab' type shopping I am forced to do when I've got the kids with me. I'm holding back the 5th star on this review simply because it is a bit difficult to manouevre round the shop with a buggy, and it must therefore be equally difficult for anyone in a wheelchair, but overall my shopping experience here was pretty good.

They are particularly well known for their t-shirts and sweatshirts with printed logos on. They are a must for anyone on the slopes or sailing! Look out for their track suit bottoms which are great for yoga and thin enough you could wear them as a midlayer!

The jewellery I have bought is good quality and unique. i.e. you won't find people wearing the same item. Many are one offs and prices very reasonable. The selection of scarves, bags, bracelets and necklaces and ear rings make it difficult to choose. Give it a try ladies. You won't regret it.

New Look is not a place I'd choose to go myself to buy clothes. Also you have to go out the back entrance of the mall to find it.

In Denmark, the stores for large women like me tend to think that we want to wear frills and large flowers which I definitely DON'T, so I love my stuff from Bonmarché. Will actually be going to Reading in a few days, and can't wait to visit Bonmarché there! I agree with other reviews here on QYPE - the clothes are generally for the more mature woman (I'm 51) - and a lot of it I didn't like. But that's the kind of shop I like - something for everyone! I found a dress I loved and said we would be back, as my other bridesmaid wasn't with me. We went back several weeks later, date of wedding was then set, they remembered me and the dress I liked. My bridesmaids pick out the dresses they like and they found sizes fir them to try, although not the colour, just to get the feel for fit.
