Just another UNDER STAFFED bellco branch. !0 AM wednesday morning and NO tellers. nobody asked if they could assist me until i started looking around for help. Then Andrew apologized for being understaffed. They only had 3 associates working and NO tellers at all. I called the 800 number and they forwarded me to Brandon the Mgr of the branch . He was off and assured me I was incorrect and they do have a teller "scheduled" I have since filed a formal complaint after the customer service agent suggested I visit a 3rd party credit union to get better service. maybe I need to move my account to public service credit union read more

Me: "I lost my income, I'd like to see if I can get my auto loan payments deferred? My payment is due tomorrow." Credit Union of Denver: "I'm sorry to hear that. Yes sir, I will take care of that for you right now. You won't have another payment for two months. Is there anything else I can do to assist you today?" Subtext: We value your business and will do everything we can to help you through this difficult time. Bellco Credit Union: "I will send this to our 'back office,' and they will determine if and for how long we can defer your payments, based on your loan history and length of the loan... it will take 4-6 days. Oh, your payment is due tomorrow? They won't be able to approve a deferment if the loan isn't current." Subtext: F**k you, peasant. You don't have money? We will charge you late fees and negatively affect your credit score. Now leave. Bellco Credit Union SUCKS A**. Never opening an account there again. Actually, I think I will try to refinance this loan right now. If you own a business, I'd recommend you examine how you treat your customers. Choose wisely. read more

I agree with a couple of other comments. We've been with Bellco in excess of 20 years now and for the past few years they have been going downhill. I'll be doing some research to find a better banking option. read more

STAY AS FAR AWAY AS YOU CAN!!!!! Negative 5 stars! Not sure what happened to Bellco, they used to be awesome and amazing. While continuing to keep my accounts at Bellco, I just have to point out that I have experienced less-than-acceptable service. Calling this business is a MAJOR pain, as their menu of options is so complicated, and usually merits no success. I leave messages, request the call-back, and am often cut off after a 6-10 minute wait! Most of the reps are kind, but a couple have spoken in a condescending manner when it comes to functions not working properly. I once hung up on a rep who was so negative and would NOT listen! We currently have a loan application submitted but I cannot get through to anyone. While waiting on hold for 6 minutes, after going through their menu of options, I was FORCED to leave a voicemail. I've been a credit union member since 1981 in Oregon and have always had excellent service- but this CU? I feel like they are disorganized and incompetent I made a HIGE deposit through the drive up window and SPECIFICALLY designated the 2 accounts it was to be distributed into on the deposit slip. They needed it up and placed all of the money into our checking account! I couldn't access the funds for more than a week, even though this is the modern world. The money was coming from a cashier's check for an account I closed at Chase- and now I regret closing that account. Got this account over a year ago from the advice of a co-worker who had been a member for over 20 years. I am now seriously rethinking my choice after continued bad experiences. First off, all who are considering joining a credit union must understand that they are NOT A BANK. They fall short in most ways that banks exceed at including basic customer service, timely processing of large deposits and online banking. While credit unions may offer easier ways to consolidate finances and offer decent rates on mortgages, they aren't for everyone. The online experience has been horrible where they cannot even reset a password unless you actually physically go into a branch to do so. I understand and appreciate the high level of security but the way at which they treat you and then brush you off is unacceptable. I recently made a large deposit with a check from Wells Fargo into my account. They stated that because it was an "out of state check" I would have to wait A WEEK for the check to clear. What? This is an arbitrary estimate as there is nothing within any of my agreement that states that it would take that long to clear. That is borderline discrimination and I am filing a complaint against them. If any of you who have had bad experiences want more recourse you can go to the NCUA site (http://www.mycreditunion.gov/consumer-assistance-center/Pages/default.aspx) and file a complaint against this credit union. Your thanks for paying off an auto loan early (and paying the amount on the invoice) is to be charged another $27.00 for interest and get an email saying you are passed due for the "new" interest charge that accrued during a payoff? A call to customer service goes nowhere and they hold firm on you owing $27 of interest. Send an email to customer service as well, no response. I will not be getting another auto loan (or any loans) from Bellco again. Run away fast if your leasing agent works with them. read more

I highly recommend avoiding this Bellco location. In my particular situation, poor decision-making by a teller here during a deposit put money into an entirely unused account. This eventually caused late fees and other problems for me personally to which another teller responded with something along the lines of "oh, we would never do that." read more

My girlfriend and I both opened accounts here and on first impression we are very pleased! Ashley was beyond accommodating. She is helping us repair our credit which other banks (Bank of The West) refused to do. I can already tell that this small branch is much more customer service oriented than what we're used to.(Bank of The West) We felt like our experience was genuine. Really outdated procedures and website/app are terrible. They need you to fax in information for disputed charges.

The people are nice. However, if someone is next on the list to see a banker and then waits 45 min to be told they have an appointment open in an hour...come on. Be respectful of my time. Especially when everyone in there is giving you their money. Communication counts. Don't forget about the basics of customer service. I'll drive the distance to try another Bellco location. read more

It has been 2 weeks and 2 days and still no call back from a manager that was supposed to call me back, nor a call from the CEO president that asked to call me back. This concerns online banking or the lack their of. I would run from this company as they no longer wish to be a world class company! read more

Horrible service, they never have enough tellers or bankers. Always make you jump through hoops. I have never had a good experience at this bank. read more
