My friend and I went there for the 1st time about a month ago and it wasn't that bad we liked it but while I was getting my pedicure the lady did cut me n she didn't even bother to say sorry. Anyways we went again last week on veterans day and we didn't have an appt but they took us in anyway even though they were busy so we both got mani and pedis and they were soo busy that they rushed everything with the pedis, they cut me again on my toes didn't say sorry, they took like 20 minutes on the pedis when last time they took over 30 minutes and when I showed em what I wanted for my hand they were denying it and made me pick something else so I also wanted some rhinestones n she put em on n my friend got dip powder n they looked cute but once her nails started to grow it look horrible and my rhinestones within 2 days were already coming off and little by little they came off completely. I wasn't happy with the color cuz I felt rushed on picking the color. so we went again yesterday and I told em about my nails and the lady who did em last week I told her about it and she just kinda blew me off and handed me to someone else and the new lady she was very rough she cut me n didn't even say sorry again and was putting a lot of pressure when she was drilling that it was burning me and hurting me and I kept on flinching my hand and again not even a sorry. My friend got gel on her nails n her gel is already chipping and I noticed on my nails she didn't fully remove all the acrylic. They need to know how to manage appts with walk ins cuz what's the point of having an appt if they still make u wait 15 minutes or more. So we ain't gonna go there ever again. I've gone to Bella nails for quite some time now. I usually have kimmie do my dip nails and she's the best. Super sweet and gentle. However, every time and I mean every time I get a pedicure they absolutely f up my toes. I try not to be so vocal as I don't want to seem rude but it's absolutely frustrating that every time I go and get a pedi I am so unhappy. Today for instance, I got a pedicure by a tech named Mary and came home with chunky nail polish, crooked nails, and three cuts on my toes. Not a spa day what so ever. Not to mention that they always seem to be in a rush which doesn't make the experience at all relaxing. I complained once about a pedicure I received and the manager was quick to point out that nothing was wrong lol. I sure enough won't be recommending pedicures. read more

This might be long. Just moved to the area and was looking for a good place to get my nails done. After much asking this place and specifically Tom kept coming up. I took the leap and made the appointment directly with him and he was so nice about getting me in when my work schedule was conflicting with available times. Once I got to my appointment he was very nice and didn't judge me for wanting nails on the shorter side (which has happened to me in the past). I'm a very nervous person and I have a hard time saying what I want but he rolled with the little information I said along with pictures of past nails I've had for a length reference and my nails came out so cute! Definitely made me feel more comfortable to come back and maybe even be more comfortable to show some designs that I've been dying to try but too afraid to ever ask for in the future! I have always thought of Bella Nails as a great nail salon until my last few experiences here so it pains me to write this review. Went in for a gel manicure, pedicure and eyebrow wax. This woman did my pedicure and it was not good. Pedicures are supposed to be a relaxing time but I barely got to soak my feet and when I was soaking it was in barely warm water. She did a poor job with the cuticles as well. She painted my toes and after she was done she wrapped the paper in between my toes so they wouldn't ruin the polish. Normally they wrap the paper before actually putting the polish on. She was a nice lady but the pedicure was not up to par. This also happened to me several weeks ago and I chopped it up to they were having an off day but now this has been twice that I've left unsatisfied. read more

SCREW THIS PLACE!!! I has an appt with Tom for over a week, flew out of work, sat in traffic and even called to say I would be a couple minutes late and they said no problem. I get here and they say wash your hands and have a seat and 5 minutes later Tom comes up and asks what I want done. I show him and he says I'm sorry I'm double booked can you come back later? What?? It's 515pm already, I just worked all day and I live 30 minutes from here! I spent 2 hours last night taking off the set I had on and now I have nothing. I asked to see a manager and if course, theres not one here so they say. The girl he was working on was there with her friend who he just finished, so I think he just bumped me to do her nails instead of mine. This was my first time here and I will never be back. Worst pedicure I've ever had. I feel bad for saying it because the two ladies that worked on me were nice but I will not be returning to this salon. I made an appointment at 7pm because they stay open later than most places, before going on vacation. My whole trip my toes kept bothering me because of the way the lady cut the nails. They were digging in the whole time. Till finally I had the recut them myself. I shouldn't have to fix my nails after I've already paid a "professional" to do them. Also, their closing time is 7:30 yet they left the doors open and people kept coming in and the workers would laugh each time someone new would come in because they all wanted to go home. I came here with my mom and a couple of my bridesmaids to get our nails done after our rehearsal at the Wedgewood Tower Club down the road. I wanted to get a pedicure with my wedding colors and a manicure with acrylic nails. I forgot to make reservations and had to call around to a few local places before I found Bella Nails. Thankfully they were willing to accommodate our multiple needs on such short notice. I started with the pedicure. Massage chairs were nice and color options were extensive. The pedicure was typical of a Spa Pedicure with scrub. After, that was finished, I got the acrylic nails put on. My technician wasn't very talkative (long day perhaps?) but she seemed very popular with all the women walking in, hoping to have the honor of sitting in my chair. I cannot really critique her technique as I haven't gotten acrylics in over a decade, but they looked really good. The pedicure didn't last very long. My shoes were tough on my feet during my wedding and then I spent the next two weeks playing in the ocean and on beaches. But the acrylics looked great through it all! read more

First let me say that I found Nails by Thai on Instagram and I really was excited about the artistry I saw in the photos. But when I arrived I was very disappointed. I was hardly greeted before I was told to sit and wait in the chair. Thai was running about 30 minutes late which was no big deal because traffic was terrible coming from the San Fernando Valley all the way to Oxnard I was running late as well. When I sat down in his chair we discuss the design and I told him that I would like to have pretty much any color as long as it was pastel. Since it was spring. I brought my daughter with me too it was her birthday week and I was treating us both to special Nails. I wanted to have Thai do to both mine and my daughters but he insisted that that was too long to wait so he referred her to a different nail tech Mina who worked right next to him. He had scheduled an appointment with Mina but within a couple minutes she got up and someone named Daniel sat down and worked on my daughter. I sat down with Thai and I have to say from the very beginning he was kind of an ass. He just had a very negative attitude about everything including the fact that he felt burdened with all the free product he was being sent from all the different manufacturers. He also was very negative about other Instagramers and other nail techs putting down many of them as he worked. Although I had a brand-new full set on from Laque nail bar he decided all my nails had to be removed and proceeded to rip them off one by one which was extremely painful. Ripping off a two week old. It is completely ridiculous. He pretty much had an attitude about everything, the fact that I wanted a light color or pastel acrylic, that I liked a different glitter than what he had in mind and that I wanted my nails shorter which he refused to do. I was starting to dread my decision. I did my best to turn the situation and act friendly and kind and make the appointment as fun as possible for both myself and my daughter. As she was sitting next to me she mouthed tell me that the nail tech did not put the bonding liquid on before he began the acrylic having been very experienced at having acrylics she was very concerned. But there is a new technology all the time and we both assumed this was a product that didn't need a primer/bonding solution. Boy were we wrong with in a week her nails were lifting and I took her to have a new set put on they were covered in fungus. Needless to say she was very upset and attempted to call Thai and get a refund he was completely rude and arrogant and then refused to refund her the money stating that the Salon was based on commission. When she told him that she was going to have to file a report with the state board because the products are being improperly used he told her to stop threatening him and he refused to give her any type of refund at all. It is a consumer's responsibility to file a complaint with the state board especially when it's the health and safety of the public that's involved. I'm very proud of my daughter that she would be willing to stand up for herself and only 17 years old and ask for a refund. Shame on Thai for being so rude and arrogant and treating his customer so terrible. Needless to say I would never return to the salon again. the best artistry in the world can never make up bad customer service and dirty habits!! read more

My first impression of the shop when they open was that it was very well kept and every employee was getting ready for, no doubt, a hefty load of customers. I was greeted by Thai and sat down for my appointment. I came in with a picture of a similar nail look I was hoping he could somehow recreate, but Lord was I blown out of the water. I have never left a salon with such killer stiletto nails before. Thai took the utmost care and precision to leave me with not only a fabulous set I loved, but a set that met his standards. Another huge plus was that when I showed him the picture of the nail look, I was expecting a regular stiletto set with ombre nail polish, that would most likes chip a week or two from now, but he went a different route instead!
