Dry meat, 55kr for a bottle of still water and they forgot the dessert. Not worth the price or the high rating, unfortunately.

Great "inside" recommendation out-of-the-way of the usual tourist venues. A bit on the pricy side, but worth every cent.

Third visit, as I really wanted this place to be good - sadly it's mediocre at best, and vastly…read moreoverpriced at that. On the first two visits, the steaks have been overcooked and tough, although the menu highlights the immaculate quality of the meat. The proprietor is quick to offer a replacement when it is pointed out, but that doesn't change the fact that he needs to get the kitchen under control. Risotto is a watery mess devoid of much flavor. Avoid at all cost. Bruschetta is fresh, albeit doused in so much olive oil, the grilled (and very thinly sliced) bread turns completely saggy before you have a chance to enjoy the fresh tomatoes. Also, in dire need of garlic and a pinch of salt. On our third (and final) visit today, my girlfriend ordered the house pasta. Described as beef and mushrooms in a truffle sauce and priced at 169 DKK, one assumes a petite cut of filet or at least a strip - unfortunately it comes out as ground beef; an upgraded bolognese. To top it off, the beef was grissly and dry - assuming it has been sitting in a heater most of the day. I had high hopes for a restaurant that, on paper, cares about quality - sadly Torve-hallen fails to live up to its flashy exterior and decor.

Stopped by for spontaneous family lunch. Perfect location: waterfront view is visible from outside…read more AND inside the restaurant, making it easier for us to eat without being scared our little one will run off across the road & into the harbor... Decor was cheap & cheerful. Chairs super comfortable & everything quite clean. Just not a fan of "fake" industrial lamps, etc. Food; menu options were large. Pizza was very good, portions were large. I recommend drinking a Danish beer. I think they only had one Danish option, but it tasted good. Service was great & friendly. Food arrived in a reasonable amount of time. I recommend this location for a quick bite, when you don't feel like eating fast food.. but also don't want to sit at a "proper" or stuffy/expensive restaurant.

Have your GPS handy or you won't find this place!! Very…read moresmall just a handful of tables, and open to the kitchen. The moment you enter you will be transported !! The place is simple with a bit of modern but with the warmth and intimacy you would expect What takes you to another dimension is that the moment you enter you are greeted by the smell of the passion and detail of the food, if that makes sense. Then you are welcomed by an experienced server that will show to the table and will explain with detail each of the dishes including the bred they bring you They also have a great selection of wine, I don't mean great by quantity but by well chosen bottles of wine that will be a great joy by themselves or with the food they serve The dishes are Sicilian, from the minds, hearts and hands of two well talented chefs. I won't bore you with what I ordered, it was a number of plates all exquisite in their freshness, taste and conception. This place is truly a hidden jewel, perfect in every sense. You don't want it to grow or expand because the greatness about this place raises from its size, simplicity and its roots. Enjoy!

Four of us have tried all three hors d'oeuvre, two pasta, and risotto, plus a pork main course. The homemade bread with olive oil marinated garlic was surprisingly interesting. Duck breast prosciutto was very good. Risotto with shrimps, lemon and mint was the highlight for us. The hint of mint and lemon made the summer day even more wonderful!
