I love that you get the whole place to yourself during your appointment and have a stylists working one on one with you during the appt. I ended up letting my bridesmaids wear dresses with different necklines, but in the same color and fabric. I knew I wanted this option from the very beginning because they each have different body types and concerns. They got to choose a dress that they were comfortable in and we all were happy with. It was great because they live in different states so I picked out the color & designer here, and they went to their local Bella Bridesmaids to try on styles and get measured. The stylist set me up with online ordering so each bridesmaids could do their fitting and submit their order at their convenience which was great for their busy schedules. I liked that they didn't all have to be at the appt with me to order. I felt like the whole process was so convenient for all of us. It's a really nice boutique and makes you feel special, not like just another bride in the masses of others shuffling through racks. They will put together ideas for you unique to your vision or let you browse, whichever you want. Most importantly, I felt that the dresses were unique and of high quality. There had dresses that were simple & elegant, some that were fun and cute, and some with glitz and glamour. They also have designers and styles exclusive to them. Briana makes the process of buying bridesmaid dresses easy and fun. She is knowledgeable on the latest trends, and makes what could be a stressful occasion very enjoyable. Half of my seven bridesmaids were from out of town, and half were in the cities, so Briana was able to work with other Bella Bridesmaid owners out of state to help my non-local bridesmaids find the perfect dress for them. The rest of us were lucky enough to visit her boutique, where we were able to experience her expertise firsthand. Each of my bridesmaids was able to pick the style of dress that fit them best, with options from different designers that you definitely can't find everywhere else. Briana made sure they were all beautiful and fit together. We talked about colors I wanted before our visit, and she had a variety of dresses in the perfect colors picked out when we arrived. She even made recommendations on the color for each bridesmaid depending on who was standing next to who. The results couldn't have been better! I could have never pulled this off myself in a million years. To throw a wrench in, I also had 3 VERY pregnant bridesmaids. It was a non-issue for the dresses, as there were amazing maternity options. One pregnant bridesmaid under-estimated her size at the time of the wedding (Briana had recommended a larger size, but we didn't listen!), and Briana helped to order extra fabric to have the dress altered. Everyone's dress fit perfectly. I would recommend anyone go see her if they are planning a wedding. I visited her at her excelsior store, but she has since moved to the uptown area. My whole Bella Bridesmaid experience has been awesome. I went in with my Maid of Honor, and we selected the prettiest dress combo, I cannot wait for them to get in!! I almost brought in all the girls, but felt like it was going to be overwhelming, and was glad I brought just 1. We narrowed down a few choices for the other girls to choose from--and everyone is really excited. Another perk is that one Bridesmaid lives in Chicago, and there is a store there that was able to fit her, and let her try on the dresses we picked. They have by far had the best selection that I have seen for Bridesmaid dresses. The designers that they carry are unique; the fabrics are quality (hello silk taffeta) and are available in beautiful color selections. This was huge for me!--I was having a really hard time finding anything in the right color, and I go here and they have a swatch (Cardinal) that exactly matched what I was looking for. I used Lynn Lugo, and was able to select the skirt/top/sash combo that we liked best. Super fun!! The whole process was easy and we had a really great time. At this point in the planning, I cannot tell you what a relief it was to be advised by the shop owner Briana, the customer service she provided was more than I have experienced anywhere for any of this wedding planning stuff thus far. Thank you very much for such an enjoyable experience while shopping for bridesmaid dresses. I married this past June, and we shopped at your uptown location the December prior. I had three of my girls wear Jenny Yoo styles in the watercolor blush and two friends + personal attendants in garments they already owned or borrowed from friends. The Jenny Yoo print ended up blending the other blush dresses perfectly, and those in the Jenny Yoo dresses mentioned how comfortable and elegant they felt. I did not originally plan for any of the girls to be in a floral print, but once I saw it I knew it was meant to be, and absolutely ZERO regrets! I told the Bella consultant I wanted to try the watercolor blush prior to our apt and she had it ready for us when we showed up as well as backup options if we had decided to go another direction. She helped each of the girls find their appropriate size, and I am grateful she didn't suggest two sizes bigger like other shops in town do. I was very impressed by the online experience Bella offered and loved how easy it was to contribute financially to each of the girls dresses (as everyone has a different budget). Briana, the owner of Bella Bridesmaid in Excelsior, is the sweetest person you'll ever meet. You'll love working directly with her since the hours are "appointment only" on a small-group basis. One group at a time, so that means you have the whole joint to yourself! It's worth the effort and even the wait if she's booked up! The boutique-style shop is the cutest, most relaxing store -- you'll never want to leave. Picture an over-sized walk-in closet with cute downtown decor and a giant mirror to check yourself out in. The dresses themselves are quality hand-picked by Briana herself and the amazing designers she works with! Even the designer's reps she works with make miracles happen. Last minute, I needed to trade a dress in and magically, they were able to make it happen. That's not guaranteed since it's in your contract that they can't make exchanges -- but I was impressed that she was even willing to try! I can't even begin to give her a great enough review. I was looking for bridesmaids dresses for my upcoming wedding this summer in July 2012. I have been other places in Minneapolis but was not that impressed with the selection, it all looked the same. I was on Bella Bridesmaids website and they had many of the brands I was looking for. I called and made an appointment and the second we arrived I knew this was the place. Briana was very helpful and showed my bridesmaids and me designers that she thought we would like, along with the ones I had come in to see. It was so nice to have the space to ourselves and try everything on. Briana was there in the background to help with options for skirt style and to answer any questions I had on fabric and color options ( which there were a ton). It was the best experience and we ordered the dresses a week later. I think there is a dress there I might pick for my reherseal dinner too!!! We went with Lulakate and I can't wait to see them. I had the most amazing experience with Bella & Briana (the owner)! I'm getting married in July and everything has been absolutely seamless... The store had so many fantastic options to try on, they really had all the options that I had in mind/pulled out of magazines - and Briana had asked me before I came in what I thought I might be looking for, so she had great options pulled before I even walked through the door! Once I finally decided on a style (emphasis on finally - and there was no pressure even though it took me forever :)), I couldn't decide on color, so Briana ordered me all the swatches I wanted so I could take them home to really think about it...I couldn't believe it - that's some seriously good service! After hearing horror stories about other bridesmaid dress shops in town, I was a little nervous for my first appointment with Bella Bridesmaids. But I was instantly put at ease! Briana and her team were amazing to work with. They allowed my sister (MOH) and I to come in separately from the rest of my bridesmaids to narrow down their immense selection. Then, when I found out the shop would be closed the one day all of my bridesmaids would be in town, they opened the store just for us! All of my girls fell in love with a dress within 15 minutes. Even when we hit a snag (the dress we all wanted wasn't available in the size we needed for one of my bridesmaids), Briana took care of it all, ordering us extra fabric from the designer (Jenny Yoo) that a seamstress later altered to perfection. Such a lovely shop and experience! I originally left it up to my bridesmaids to choose whatever dress they were most comfortable in (within a certain color scheme). This proved harder than it sounds, and they actually came back looking for more direction from me. I read about Bella Bridesmaids on Lauren Conrad's blog, so thought I would look into it. I emailed Briana my vision for the bridesmaids (different tones and fabrics) and when I arrived at the shop there was the perfect selection of dresses already picked out!
