Lovely quaint pub with original beams throughout. From entering to leaving the service is second to none and so friendly by the young staff. We went one lunchtime with friends and were so impressed we took another group back to this eatery, Great, traditional, pub grub. Quantity of food is LARGE and the price is mid to low. However, next time if we have the Sunday Roast, we will request the smaller portion size. The normal is difficult to get through, so much on the plate of delicious beef (or chicken, lamb), Yorkshire pud, 3 veg (delicious cauliflower cheese) and wonderful roast potatoes.
An extra plus, for we oldies, is the midweek 2 or 3 course meals from a brilliant, limited menu, for an incredible price. Going to try that soon if we can get a table as, we are told, it gets booked pretty quick.
Catch you again, soon, guys. Thank you. read more
