I tried to work out a mutually agreeable delivery time but a woman who identified herself as Sweetwater's owner was at my door with the arrangement at a time which was hours different than the store employee told me. The arrangement was obviously intended to be special and unique, but the roses buds were already browning and overall it just looked way past its peak! Flowers I've bought at the big grocery stores have lasted much longer than this and I can't imagine the owner of a nice shop delivering something which wasn't fresh!

That initial reaction is what matters. And when I order a $150 arrangement and pay nearly $200 all-in with delivery for my parents' 47th wedding anniversary and their reaction is, "They're fine...they're pretty..there's branches and carnations," that doesn't make for a happy customer or repeat business. Sweetwater has a website that isn't really user friendly when it comes to ordering. At the time of this review, they advertise a "grand" $88 wrapped bouquet but no way to add the vase even though the description says it can be put into a chic case. That pictured bouquet is in fact grand and plentiful. Because I wanted a vase, I called to place the order. I wanted to support local. I asked them to make a "grand arrangement" with bright colors. You can see what's on their site next to what was delivered for $150 and judge for yourself whether it's worth the price. I get that flowers are subjective. And I appreciate that this florist tried to explain the value when I called. Maybe a professional florist will see the jasmine vines and Veronica and say this is an arrangement worth the price, but the sparseness and stems didn't make the recipient's eyes light up, and that is what matters most.

It has a little bit of everything for everyone. AAC is actually two shops in one. It looks like they may have been separate at one time, but are now connected. Both sides have similar items and similar helpful staff. Here are some of the items I liked: Hats: I love a good ball cap. They had several different styles. Shirts: There were a good variety of shirts that were Colorado themed or for specific local attractions. Their shirts were much cheaper than the ones for sale at the local attractions. Stickers: I love stickers. I bought several. There were some that seemed a tad ridiculous, but I am sure they sell plenty of weed themed stickers here. Weeeeeeeed maaaaaaan. Get a job hippy. When I asked for price point recommendations she came with a suggestion much lower than I expected to spend given my past experiences. The flowers were prettier and grander in person than they appear in these photos. They are super fresh and vibrant. The arrangement looks lovely from all angles, front and back. The venue alone was quite beautiful- a 3 day event up at Broadmoor's - Cloud Camp. Design Works did an amazing job. People still talk about it. They met with us on site before to discuss every detail. The delivery went without a hitch. The set up more than fabulous. I never will forget my sister in law hurrying me from my room to come look at the breathtaking display they had just completed. We will always be grateful for their professionalism , their knowledge and artistic design and talent. They also kept costs reasonable never taking advantage of us as the customers or for the location of our venue. I will definitely reach out to them for our next affair. When we walked in, we were not greeted; the young, brown haired millennial at the register just sat there with her phone in her hand. Obviously it was more important than the customers. Several people walked in and out while we were there and she did not look up once to say hello or do anything. One couple wanted to buy some items but when they walked up to the cashier, they still weren't spoken to and the girl never looked up so they put the items back they wanted tp purchase and walked out. We wanted to purchase some items too - I really liked the cute succulent/cacti soap but didn't feel like dealing with the young lady at the register. We walked out too and were not given any type of greeting as we left like all the other stores did that we walked in to that day. I really hope they employee better employees that don't stay on their phones all day or else they will continue to lose business like they are.
