The lone negative experience was the entertainment fee added to our bill for a cover song singer (it's apparently standard in Brasil to charge an entertainment fee when there is live music). That charge in addition to the 10% tip they arbitrarily added made it a little more expensive than we anticipated. Overall, great experience and reasonably priced food. Would recommend if you'll be there for 4-5 nights. Also offers a reprieve from the rice and beans that you are endlessly bombarded with at every restaurant.

We walked all the way down the beach, and thus, this was our last stop before heading back to the main town. I wish we had discovered it earlier! The cachaca flamed fish was incredible. And the Jorge Amado cocktail was likewise delicious. The location is perfect with a picturesque view of the bay. Service is also great, and you can use their beach chairs for free if you order drinks.

All the candle lit tables are set on the beach. When you want to order your meal you walk back to the Barbecue and choose your fresh cut of meat, skewer of meat, or fish. All the food is fresh, on display, and moves fast so you know they are restocking it with more fresh food. Each meal is served on a plate with rice, veggies, and a small salad. You can also choose skewers of cheese or veggies to accompany your meal. We ordered the fish and skewers or cheese, beef, and veggies.
