As a Färmer -- a member of the Färm consumer cooperative -- I might be a bit prejudiced, but I…read morereally like this store. Unlike a lot of other organic stores, they don't try to force vegetarianism or veganism down your throat: there's even a quite wel stocked meat counter! Not everything they sell is organic, or at least not labeled as such, but if it isn't, it will at least be local, seasonal, and sustainable. Often there are some free tasting samples, something that always makes shopping more interesting. Färm also serves as a pick-up point for Les Paniers Verts (an organic vegetable subscription), and since they keep your box in the cooled vegetable area, it's okay if you're a bit late to collect it. The staff is mostly bilingual NL-FR, but I'm sure most will be able to help you in English as well. They don't really sell household products like washing powder in bulk (yet), so I still go to other stores for that. However, they do sell ingredients to make your own household products, but so far I didn't get around to doing that. Färm could use a bicycle rack in front of the store, but I suppose that's not only up to them to decide.

Very disappointed in this shop. I'm really into my organic stuff, but Be Positive makes it only…read morereachable to super rich people: how do you want youths to eat well with prices like that? In a gist, the prices are the most expensive I've ever seen for an organic shop, and the service is very poor - it's like, sorry to give you my money! I'll never go there again.

Beautiful store, great location, huge selection, but by far the most expensive organic, or "bio"…read morestore as the locals call it, that I've come across in Brussels. Even the tea is more here than anywhere else. I often buy organic and local food while travelling, so I wanted to drop in for some nuts, nut butter, chocolate, and lo and behold, freshly squeezed green juice! Yes! Sadly, there was never anyone at the juice bar, even after waiting multiple times on different occasions. Almond butter was almost €1 more than another bio store on the other side of Parc Cinquetaire. Chocolate was also priced higher, as was pretty much everything I came across where I'm aware of the local pricing. Expats, the staff speak English and French. I was a bit annoyed that even though I speak French fluently (I went to school in French), and spoke French to the staff, I was replied to in English because of my bank card (which puts the language your card is in up on the debit machine screen - standard in Belgium). I'll return just because it's convenient, but I'll likely buy most of my food from the Sunday market instead, right in front of this store. (Search Place Jourdain Market or Marché for details, it's on Yelp).
