I've had Maggi sauce ever since I was young. After some tourist stops and the rain coming down, my friends and I were hungry and stopped into the Maggi Kochstudio. They had a mini, very inexpensive cafeteria style restaurant (choose from: 2 Maggi soups, pasta and 2 sauces, salad and drinks). The soup was pretty good and the pasta was with cheese cream sauce I had was pretty good. The restaurant was clean, there were free, clean WCs for their customers, the Maggi store had tons of package soups, pasta sauces, gravy, and various other Maggi sauces for you to purchase. I couldn't read the German but I think you can pay and sit in on their cooking studio. I saw a couple of employees setting up for a cooking session.

I had the bologanese which was sticky instead of creamy with hardly any bacon flavor. The kids had pizza with no WOWs. We didn't have high expectations of dessert so we opted to skip it. The decor was nice. They had bar height high chairs so you weren't only stuck at the benches. It was raining when we went but they had lots of outdoor seating. For the price and quality of food, it's a definite pass for us. Who would of thought an Italian Lubys wouldn't have the folks lined up around the corner?!

When ever you order, you give the card and they add the amount of your purchase to that card. At the end you just go to the cashier and give the card, that is basically your bill. Now, to the meal! The pastas are made to order and you are viewing while their are cooking them. The pastas are made in the restaurant and you can choose what pasta and ingredients you want. Carbonara is my favorite! The bread is fresh, the omelettes were delicious and served hot and a full bar is a bonus. Service was a little slow but that could be the normal German pace of life. Plenty of outdoor seating makes it great for a nice day. Would definitely recommend trying it for yourself.

What's more surprising us was we complained it when another one finally came to us after my GF tried to talk to them at bar on personal, apparently she had no any clue or maybe didnt give a shit to what happened, she served in kinda of eat-or-go gesture and apparently sensitive to take our complains or maybe felt pushed when her hands were tired, she took away the menu from us refusing to offer the service. OK I might apologize my broken language but excuse me, we were just looking for a breakfast not a planned fight on Sunday morning. And for any of restaurants, too busy and not noticing customers will never be a reason to comfort.
