They knew I was far away and at their mercy so I didn't know what to expect. But I called them back the next day, they didn't try to add anything extra and had a VERY reasonable price. I took it to Lackey's to get a second opinion and he told me an alignment and a new power steering pump would fix the problem. I don't believe Lackey does alignments, but I ended up only spending $300. He also ran diagnostics and checked the body of a car my brother thought about buying. He was able to find a lot of things wrong with this car and when my dad asked how much he owed him, Lackey wouldn't take any money! Lackey said people should know if a car is a lemon so they don't have to find out the hard way. Lackey's has two very honest, friendly, and efficient mechanics. Lackey's is also the most reasonably priced auto shop I have ever taken my car to. This shop also offers a wide range of service categories. If I ever move it will be impossible to find a better mechanic.

They squeezed me in to try to see if they could spot the issue without taking anything apart (as they wouldn't have time to put it back together before they closed) and check if it was safe to drive because I am not from town.
