This was the place I had my first Chinese meal in Germany and, it was ok. I have had the fear of trying Chinese food in Munich as, most of the places I have walked by, or peeked into don't look so appetizing and, the menus often a bit bland. Finally we decided to give this a try.
The restaurant itself is quite big inside and, there are a number of tables outside. The staff are friendly and helpful and the menu had a lot of options, many of which I have never heard of. I thought I would order pikante / Scharf chicken in Sczhewan style to see what hot was like. I also had a hot and sour soup (something I judge almost all Chinese restaurants by).
The main course arrived and it was like a schnitzel of chicken on some vegetable and a separate sauce, which was not hot at all. The chicken tasted good and once I added a spoonful of chilli paste it was just right ;-)) the hot and sour soup was not hot or sour and again a spoonful of chilli and soy sauce fixed that ;-))
Overall it was quite ok and I would probably come back here as it close to where we live. Must however, keep looking for great Chinese food in Munich :-)) read more
