Next, I saw a sports medicine specialist who referred me to physical therapy. After weeks of treatment, I still had no relief. Out of options and frustrated, I started researching online and came across Active Release Therapy (ART). Dr. Akin was listed as a certified provider, so I figured I had nothing to lose. From my very first visit, Dr. Akin was attentive and thorough. He listened carefully, gave me a full assessment, and told me he believed he could resolve my issue in 6-8 visits. I'll be honest--I was skeptical. After a year of failed treatments, it was hard to believe this could be fixed that quickly. But sure enough, after just 6 sessions, the pain in my elbow was gone. I understand things happen, and as I stated in my reply that I felt bad she was sick. I had no way of knowing that, because she never responded or created a message. I actually would have changed my review had she reached out and explained. But that was not her choice response. She called me names, she implied I was a person who had no empathy or compassion. She continues to return to my original post and makes or other one-touch comments. A person like this isn't somebody I would ever want in my personal space, let alone touching me. Just so you know...
