In my experience, Manly Jewelry Repair in Biscayne is not trustworthy…read more We left my daughter's custom-made necklace for a simple repair. When it was returned, the chain was different--longer, lighter, and lower quality than the original. This necklace had been worn daily for years, and the difference was immediately obvious. When we questioned this, the owner was dismissive and rude and refused to meaningfully address the issue. The police were called due to concern for my daughter's safety and to make a report. Based on this experience, I believe customers--especially those dropping off sentimental or valuable items--should beware. I do not recommend doing business here.

After being surprised by Josef's approximately $900 quote to replace the movement of the watch (a standard quartz movement that itself is available for sale online for ~$40) I took the watch to JR Dunn in Pompano--an authorized Tag dealer and repair shop, where Josef's is not--and was quoted less than $300 to have the entire job done, by Tag themselves, with a warranty. Shamelessly quoting 3x a certified dealer for the exact same job is outrageous.
