    After extraction

We wanted our beehive to be relocated rather than exterminated. Steven is the right person for this. I am really impressed by Steven. He worked very hard to carefully extract the queen bee and all the bees. He stayed until 2.00 AM to complete the job. He was a great professional and very knowledgeable about this subject. He cleaned everything well after he was done. I would, without hesitation, recommend this service to anyone who is trying to relocate their beehives.

This is the new home for the bees.

I sincerely recommend this business to anyone who want to remove or relocate their bees. They helped to remove the bees from inside the eaves and find me a bee keeping advicer who helped me to relocate the bees to the box I bought. Very helpful and total solution for your varied needs.

    Hive removal.

This company dud an amazing job. We had a 60,000 honey bee hive in our chimney. Steven was fantastic. Working late to remove hive and saving bees to distribute to bee keepers. Once everything was cleaned out, he sealed and closed it up. Incredibly professional. Highly recommend this company, you won't be sorry.

Screen added so bees can no longer enter the chimney chamber and establish a hive

If you have bees...call Steven!!!! Such a great guy who's very knowledgeable when it comes to finding a solution to whatever bee issues you are facing. And I probably would have paid anything to make the problem go away. I was in a very vulnerable position but he was reasonably priced and helped ensure I will not have any problems going forward! I had a large number of what turned out thankfully to be scouts that ended up coming into my home through the damper I left open in my fireplace. After shooing them out and closing damper/sealing off my fireplace with garbage bags and tape....i found Steven online and he came out next day. He evaluated the situation and ultimately he installed a screen at the top of my chimney to make sure even if the swarm comes back that they can't get in to establish a hive. He also made sure it was sealed well too and ended up painting an old rusted chimney cap for mewhich made it look so much better! So happy there are guys like Steven doing what he does! Life Saver! I dont want bees in my home but they are very important creatures in our ecosystem. I like his overall approach and tactics to finding a solution that makes homeowners happy and is kind to the bees...thank you!

Homongous hive of bees nesting in a stud bay of my wall.

We usually buy their Queen of Sheba honey at the Berkeley farmers market on Saturdays but now and then we love going to their Honey Shop on Telegraph Avenue in Oakland. Bee Healthy Honey Shop is their storefront store with all kinds of cool honey products. My personal "go to" favorite is the lip balm. It feels conditioning like it's soaking into your lips and not just sitting not on top. I especially like the peppermint one because it's soothing especially when my lips are really chapped. In addition to their own Queen of Sheba honey, the Bee Healthy Honey Shop also has a wide, variety of other honeys, including Manuka, lavender, hot & spicy and orange with a honeycomb inside of it just to name a few. On our recent trip, we also stocked up on propolis and royal jelly, which are antioxidants and anti-inflammatories and super good for wound healing, lowering your cholesterol, etc. (Look it up) We rarely post the reviews, but wanted to give this Yemen's father and son business a shout out because it's one of those hidden gems of the East Bay.

When we got there we learnt apple picking was not happening anymore but they have a huge property with alot of vegetables, a walking and tasting tour and a horse!!! First we met Ben, the magical horse who made our day! We got to brush his hair , feed him and just hang out with him. What a unique experience! Note- They host birthday parties there so the horse can play with the kids. Next we met the main farmer who took us on a walking tour of everything they grow. We tried the most unique flowers, herbs, leaves, etc. most memorable were the chocolate mint, fennel, quinine, edible flowers that taste like cucumber. We tasted alot more including their honey which was great! The farmer was funny, engaging and so knowledgeable too! They sell plants and dried herbs and honey along with veggies and other things. We bought a few things and some plants and had a great chat with the kind farm owner. She is just amazing and knew everything about everything on the farm! Highly recommend! They told us a bunch of vegetables was $6 - that's is 2x what I pay at my expensive farmer's market. I picked a very healthy bunch of chard- $6 and then i had 2 beets also $6- what I object to is she says the price (not of everything) but doesn't define what constitutes a bunch. We ended up spending close to $100 for some starts and very little produce. The owner actually seemed embarrassed by the high prices when we commented at check out but still went ahead with outrageous pricing. Glad to support it the 1x but probably won't be returning as it is too precious for me.
