This place is right on the harbor and when we arrived they were just about to close. But our hotel had called ahead and requested that they stay open, since they were the only place in town that was open for the evening. One waitress and the chef stayed just so we could have a meal in Lilesand. The hospitality was heartwarming. The service was impeccable and friendly. And the sea food was delicious. Each dish came with three types of fish, a cream sauce, and fresh vegetables. Plus the most sweet delicious shrimp I've ever had. I'd heard good things about Norwegian shrimp, but didn't realize they tasted this good. I highly recommend this restaurant, not only for the ambiance, but because it's good food served and cooked by good people. read more
