Chris and his team are amazing, if you have to contact them it means you are already going through a lot, Chris came over to my house, and since I wasn't sleeping from the stress i wasn't ready for him, he was really nice about it, told me not to worry, and he would come the next day, he didn't charge me for this!! I sent him about 5 big bags full of clothes, leather bags, suitcases, he only charged me about $250m, which is great, since before I found Chris, i sent the same amount of stuff to some other BB laundry service in Manhattan and they took advantage of my situation and charged me $900, and i couldn't do anything since they had all my stuff!! Scheduled a pick up for my clothes, and not only did they not show up, they didn't respond to my emails until hours after the set appt. time. That being said, when they did reply, they apologized and sent over a pick up guy within fifteen minutes of replying to my email. The guy who picked it up was very nice. So now all my nice clothes (I am only doing dry cleaning and heat treatment as I washed all washables myself) are in their care. I'm a little nervous, but hopefully all will turn out well. Bed bugs are actually like experiencing some new devious form of psychological warfare. They're small, very hard to find, and leave terrible itchy bites in their wake.Worse, if you do actually find a live one, it is not like you can interrogate it and find out where its comrades live. As a result, the first thing you have to do is essentially move out of your home without moving: all of your stuff gets packed away for the extermination process and all of your clothes and many other items need to get cleaned. I had a really good experience with this service up until the end. They were extremely kind and accommodating and the prices were reasonable. It took me a long time to even write a review because they were so kind, and so patient with me when I was freaking out. But unfortunately, several of the clothes I sent to them for treatment came back with stains! Across the board -- not only the stuff I had heat treated, which I maybe take blame for for combining stuff that shouldn't have been combined in the same bag to save money, but also stuff I had dry cleaned! I just discovered another one and decided I should warn others. That's unacceptable, and I'm quite sad about the stains on some of my favorite stuff, especially because what I spent to have my stuff treated is really a lot of money for me, and I've never had this experience dry cleaning anything before. Chris and team were the only positive part of this whole experience. We were informed that the lady below us had a bed bug infestation so they brought the dogs to our apartment and got a hit on a two isolated spots in our apartment. We were told to dry clean/wash all clothes and clear out the apartment for the extermination which is VERY expensive. So I called Chris and had majority of our stuff sent through the treat and fold service which is reasonably priced. If you actually did the math vs. the effort of doing laundry plus dry cleaning bills and washing machine cost this is a great deal. We sent a lot of our dry cleaning through the treat and fold to save on costs and just steamed it after it came back (since it will come back folded and a bit wrinkled). After two treatments we still had no visual confirmation that we even had bed bugs and our super later told us they think it was false positive so advice to anyone going through this make sure you get a visual confirmation. I was scared to bring everything into the apartment until we had the dogs come in and verify we were in clear and Chris stored our stuff until we were comfortable with everything. I have nothing but positive things to say about this service and would highly recommend them to anyone going through this nightmare. read more

I have a ton of clothes, and live in a walk up that's two blocks away from the nearest laundromat. Let me preface this by saying bed bugs were one of the worst things to happen to me as I suffer from extreme arachnophobia. As everyone says, having bed bugs is a very, very stressful situation--especially for a ninety year old man like my father. I live in Chicago and trying to help him from here added another level of stress. But through sheer good fortune I stumbled on Bed Bug Laundry. As all the other reviews say, the service is unbelievably good. My father called me afterwards and kept saying, "that guy, Chris, he's a good guy." Chris answered all my questions from Chicago, gave me careful and clear advice about how to proceed, and generally steered me calmly through the challenges of this awful situation.
