The last time we got an apology that said the handwriting "toy poodle" was mistaken for "Tuesday". We were asked to come back Tuesday after driving in. I would recommend putting appointments on the day they are scheduled or offering online scheduling that can be viewed but the owner/customer alike. Way too much stress! No time for it!

I just felt something for Cross Creek Animal Hospital and chose them. My 16 yo pug has IVDD so he was my main concern in finding a good veterinarian. The front office sent for his former records from Lumberton. I made an appointment with Dr. Weatherman. I read about her on their website but that's all I knew. Let me just start with the phone call to the office. Immediately I felt at peace. Her voice and patience with me during my spiel had me feeling good about my choice. Entering the very clean lobby I was greeted by some happy welcoming young ladies. It was time for Baracko to go into the room now, and I asked for help carrying him. No problem and done. Asked if u needed help with him. Very nice. A very nice vet tech came in and asked all about Baracko and what he needed. She was so patient and kind with him as he's handicap. She was gentle and he appreciated her. Dr. Weatherman walked in and I was mesmerized by a beautiful young woman. She has the sweetest calm voice. She was so gentle with Baracko and thorough. She talked to me about her feelings about moving forward with Baracko's health plan moving forward. She is so sweet and will sit down with you and have a chat about your baby. I can't say enough about her and I'm so glad Baracko is under her care. The ladies at the front desk are so accommodating and helpful. Each and everyone of them. I have needed refills and help with my appointments and they are so willing to help, they make you feel like you matter. I needed help getting Baracko outside and to the car and I didn't feel bothersome at all because the young lady was happy to help. I have got to say that all in the months that I have been with this veterinarian office I haven't once had a negative feeling towards one person or the hospital ever I made the right decision 100% and I could name names but each and everyone of the staff Are really awesome people.

But Dr. Seals told us his heart was perfect and that he only pulled his muscles. So we were sent home with gabapentin and a brand new prescription food for him that we were told was 100% refundable if he did not like it, he did not like it. But we never got that refund because we had opened it, which makes zero sense to me. How are we supposed to know if he liked it or not if we didn't open it? The next day we had to rushed to the emergency room with Simba, as he was struggling to breathe by that point, and they told me his heart was severely diseased. Simba should have been put down that day, but we were sent home and end up spending an additional $500 for his euthanasia and cremation care after spending nearly $500 after Dr. Seals told us he was fine. If you ever come to this location, only see Dr. Faircloth. We've only had amazing experiences with Dr. Faircloth with our two previous animals.

Our Buster ran into some heart trouble in Mount Pleasant and we stopped at er pet service which was very thorough after the vet there talked with Buster's vet Dr Kent Dean, he advised us to come back to Hope Mills. He wanted us to see Dr Hix, his wife, when we got there, we were carried to an exam room and Dr Hix went to work. She saved his life! Dr Kent Dean has always been Buster's favorite, now he has 2 favorites, as we do too! And there is another Dr K. Dean, she is prettier than the first Dr Dean, and will be a great vet too. We are so thankful we have them. They are great people too!

I had to work to get someone's attention and get them to look away from their computer screens to acknowledge my dog and me. It was obvious I was waiting for help, but instead of someone looking up to address it, I had to shuffle around the desk. I would rather go to a small clinic than a busier place that sacrifices basic customer service skills and care, which matter far more than having a beautiful facility. Also, holding pet owners responsible for picking up their dog's poop should be a key priority, in addition to improving patient flow as people walk through the door. There were dog droppings on the sidewalks and plastic bags with waste placed by the door. This takes away from the facility's appearance and cleanliness for other four-legged animal companions and their owners.

Dr Japeth was so kind and patient in making sure we completly understood the TPLO surgery our Miller required. Once we went to the clinic, the staff made sure the entire process was simple and efficient. We received updates during the procedure and the discharge process was a breeze. Our Miller is recovering nicely and improving every day. I would definately reccomend this clinic to everyone, even if their pet doesnt need surgery. The entire staff is awesome!

I called recently for a rehire and learned that I would not only need to reprint her materials but was treated in a grossly rude manner when I stated that I didn't have the ability to print something from home at the moment. She offered alternatives disdainfully, and actually had the gall to ask me if I could have my mother print it out for me (I am a 40 year old professional). This is after her original exhaustive procedure for beginning service during which I was told "customers call me and we take care of them when they are already out of town." I guess they left without calling previously but remembered to print out paperwork. Anyway, she was ugly enough for me to want to write this review. I'd worry about my animals in the care of someone that doesn't want to keep their customers.
