NOW CALLED FOIL SALON…read more Meryl has been doing my hair for yeeeaarrsss. I won't go to anybody else for color (my husband used to do hair so I will let him cut my hair). I have natural level 3 black asian hair but I love being blonde, you always want what you *don't have right? The problem with that is getting to a pretty, non-brassy blonde while keeping your hairs integrity. If you try to go from black to platinum hair in one sitting you will guaranteed damage the living shiza out of your hair. It is a process, I can't emphasize that enough, but the end result is so worthwhile. Her rates are reasonable for someone of her skill level and experience. I said reasonable, not cheap. I've uploaded some different looks she's done for me over the years in the photos section. You can reach her directly at 719 229 0180. Text, call, if no answer leave a message.

Jenn took such good care of her and even changed the song when one came on that was less than great for a 10-year-old! Lisa is talented and has done beautiful work on my hair in the past, which is why I was willing to…read moreregularly commute from Denver to Colorado Springs for appointments. Unfortunately, my experience as a client deteriorated over time. The biggest issue was professionalism and communication. After I privately asked about why photos taken of my hair were never being posted, a video referencing that conversation was later posted on the business page in a way that felt embarrassing and dismissive. I requested multiple times that the video be removed, but it remains online. The final issue occurred when I was driving to an appointment from out of town. There was a misunderstanding regarding the appointment time, and although I accept responsibility for the mix-up, I was surprised that there was no phone call to check on me and no willingness to work with me once I explained I was already on my way. After a year of being a loyal client who traveled a significant distance, I expected better communication and customer service. Lisa is skilled at hair, but based on my experience, I can no longer recommend her due to concerns about professionalism, client privacy, and communication.

As always the service' Provided by Amada B. are INCREDIBLE!!…read more I have been going to Amanda for the past few years and I could not even imagine taking my hair elsewhere. It's such an amazing feeling to know that I can fully trust my stylist to be honest and open with me about my hair. I have been from bleach blond to black over the years and I WISH I could have started out my hair endeavors with Amanda! On top of her knowledge, and realism, she is a blast to hang out with while getting any service done -- even a full face wax! Just had my first one todaEek! She is amazing at what she does, and her passion comes through with each encounter! She can also be brutally honest about the limits of a hair dresser vs what you see in the media. Which is a "breath of fresh air" compared to those who say they can "do anything" and you end up with a blotchy color and hair that feels like string. So if you'd like to know what you can Actually Do with your hair, and how amazing it can be, you should totally call Amanda!!

From the moment I walk in no matter the appointment, she greets me with a smile and refreshment, the music is playing upbeat jams and we are ready for transformation! During a particular tough season of stress induced hair loss, she styled my hair beautifully to help build my confidence around my trouble spots- while researching a hair treatment that would help stimulate follicle growth. She's always prompt, professional, and kind. She's thorough in color application, cut and style. The part I look forward to almost as much as my big reveal after my chair... the scalp massage at the wash basin! Oh my goodness her scalp massage sends my probs down the drain! But the real reason I'm here... the highlight of our decade of do's... the first haircut my son had. Heather made sure he was ready by talking him through the steps and allowing him to touch the different tools she'd use to keep him cool as a cucumber. He LOVED his first haircut and the opportunity to donate his luscious locks made us all smile HUGE! Her patience and expertise are apparent in her daily interactions with adults... but they SHINED when she helped our kid! I'm happy to say I found this great stylist and I'll continue to happily refer friends and family to her.

I first went to Mindy on the recommendation of a friend because, after at least 3 tries, my former…read morestylist was unable to give me blonde highlights that weren't brassy/reddish. My consult went well because Mindy took the time to really listen to me. She didn't mind if I repeated myself (I was completely insecure and thought maybe my problem was that I didn't communicate what I wanted correctly), and told me exactly how we would get to the end result that I desired. The color correction was PERFECT! I then trusted her enough to let her cut my hair from the middle-of-my-back length to chin length, and I did not regret it at all. Mindy has always been completely straight with me, and I appreciate that about her. She won't say Yes to something if she thinks it's wrong for my hair type; she will instead tell me what she thinks will work, and why - all the while working to give me a look closest to what I want. The salon is new, and has fun decor with amazing original artwork. I'm always offered a drink of some kind, and feel comfortable and like I am important to them. I don't understand why another reviewer was complaining about prices. These prices are quite reasonable, especially for the expertise you get. I have paid more for people working out of their home. Also if you are not happy with ANYthing, Mindy (who is the salon owner) will go to whatever length necessary to make sure it is fixed to your satisfaction. If you leave unhappy, it is because you didn't communicate with her. She wants everyone to love their hair, and to come back!
