It's good to book, but he does take walk ins when he isn't too busy, the apprentice is tip top too. Expect plenty of banter, and most likely, to become a bit of a regular!

This barber shop is excellent…read more It offers hair cuts as well as cut throat razor shaves. If you have never had a shave like this you've never lived. The shave is close, real close. The shave takes about 15-20 minutes and the oils and creams used just make you face feel great. I really recommend this place. Price is £15 for a shave and a gents cut is £9. Have them both it is £20. Staff are friendly and the shop is. Lean and tidy with decent decor. Try it!

You can get breakfast, brunch, lunch or coffee and cake - AND you can get your haircut!! At certain times haircut with FREE coffee. Pretty cool concept - so long as they keep hair out of my coffee. It's a proper barber with cut throats, how towels and even ear flaming. Very relaxed. The boys keep up some pretty funny bantz between themselves and the regulars. They are quite skilled. They can handle my hair, which can turn into a complete mess - thinning on top, very fine, tends to point every whichway If not cut correctly. At other barbers I've walked out with a lopsided friar tuck hairdo. Not a problem here, 3/3 so far. Based on what I've seen on other clientele, they're quite experienced with the greaser/rockabilly/hipsters hairdos that you punk kids are into. Sedge is the more experienced of the pair, if you're after something exotic. The limited space/staff means that if you catch them at a busy time you'll have to wait. Usually 2 or 3 people in front of me whenever I turn up on a Saturday. 10 quid for a cut. Totally worth it.
