My donuts were DELICIOUS! My husband ordered something one day without me and didn't care for it at all. We were a bit disappointed, though, they don't actually bake in house when we saw the bread truck deliver each morning around 5AM.

The two ladies' that were working both did not speak any English but helped us as best they could with the small group that went in together. Every time I've visited there's a sweet older lady at the counter who has been helpful answering any questions despite my limited German. The staff is friendly, and that only makes their large selection seem better. Everything - from croissants to pastries to cakes to rolls and loaves of fresh-made bread - is delicious. They have coffee too. It may be out of the way if you're not from the local area, but if you are taking the scenic route to A9 or just passing by on B85, it is worth taking a short break to stop in here. Oh yea, and the prices are awesome as well, but bring cash or stop at the nearby ATM because I'm not sure they take cards.
