This review is long overdue. While at my new doctor's office, another patient shared her negative experience with Dr. O and it instantly reminded me of my own, which is why I feel it's important to finally share. I have given only 1 star because the girls upfront were somewhat nice . I ended up transferring to another provider ONE WEEK BEFOR MY DUE DATE after leaving my appointment with Dr.O in tears! As an African American woman It was really important to me to have a African/ African American doctor during my pregnancy, I was actually referred to Dr.O by a coworker who had nothing but great things to say. Day 1 I saw red flags that I chose to ignore. 1: the wait time is ridiculous just to be seen for 10 mins 2: Dr.O always made me feel as if I was a problem whenever I asked Any questions , it almost felt like she takes it as you're challenging her intelligence. 3: I dreaded every appointment because I felt like I was constantly being yelled at , chastised, talked down to or blamed for my heart rate being to high, or stupid things that I really couldn't control . 4: she has a way of talking to you like you're dumb or like youre an annoyance..I would question myself all the time like "maybe I'm being sensitive" or I would excuse her rudeness as just part of her accent or possible language barrier.. This was during the pandemic so I had to go to my appointments alone. I had no one to confirm if what and how I was feeling was legit.. so I constantly gave her chances thinking maybe I am the problem 5: the final straw was after she hit me during one of my exams. Dr.O would get really upset and yell at me because I would constantly flinch and jerk when she would try to check my crevix for dilation:. It was so painful and tender down there and I would tell her that I had a lot of pain, she pretty much threatened to sign me up from a c section since I was a weak woman and I couldn't handle one finger . So this last final time I went in again for another exam on my cervix sure enough I flinched again and she slapped me on my chin HARD , while her assistant was present !! I just remember jumping up off the table grabbing my purse and I told her SHE WOULD NOT BE DELIVERING MY BABY .. she called me by phone a few times to apologize which I NEVER returned. I did also noticed that after i stopped going to her office , she still continued to bill the HELL out of my insurance !!

We loved Dr. Ogogor and will be returning if we decide to have another. She is blunt and honest yet…read morekind, caring and understanding which is exactly what you want when making decisions on something so crucial and important. I had a complication in my 37th week of pregnancy which resulted in having to schedule a planned C Section - I was distraught. It was not what we had hoped or planned for and with my pregnancy emotions it really took a toll. Dr. Ogogor was understanding of that and hugged me as I cried while also explaining in detail why we had to do it this way. She as well as the whole staff really is great. I have zero complaints and like I said, will be returning if we have another. Thank you a million times

My provider literally said to me "some women just have sucky periods". Bullied me into a birth control I did not want and did not acknowledge my concerns when I expressed the side effects of the birth control. Now that I have gone to a new doctor's office repeating the same exact symptoms I originally told this clinic, they immediately ran tests, ultrasounds, and exams. I have been diagnosed with PCOS. I can't believe I spent 2 years trying to advocate for myself just for Sara Bushur to say you have to suck it up. If you have the ability to go literally anywhere else, please do so.

When i checked out I made a follow up visit, which i asked the person if they will send a text reminder or phone call since they originally did that for my initial visit. Front office then tells me there was a text but NOW I had unsubscribed from their text messaging system. HOW CONVIENT. I guess is all about CYOA and money at the end of the day. I just had a total abdominal hysterectomy this week, and so, it's been a long journey to get here. I feel I have the experience to speak here and give my opinion now. Dr Largoza is patient, kind, knowledgeable, and very, very good at surgery. She was able to give me a less invasive incision than originally thought, and her treatment plan has been fantastic. Methodist hospital and the women's treatment wing where her hysterectomy patients go if staying overnight, also were fantastic. I'm writing this in hopes that someone out there is nervously looking for a new Ob/gyn. If you are, and she is accepting new patients, please set an appointment with her. She's made all the difference for me. Highly, highly recommend her.

I was seen by Dr. Nolan for my very first pregnancy that ended in a missed miscarriage and had…read moreongoing symptoms including continued bleeding, passage of large clots/tissue, dizziness, and increased heart rate. Despite these symptoms, I had significant difficulty getting timely follow-up or clear guidance from the office. Multiple calls and messages went unanswered, and I have had to repeatedly advocate for basic follow-up such as lab work and further evaluation. To this day I am still having problems with no concern or guidance from this team. During this process, I ultimately have had to make an emergency room visit because I was unable to get a response from the office regarding my symptoms. I was also told that additional evaluation (including imaging) was not necessary based solely on lab trends, despite ongoing symptoms that would typically warrant further assessment. This was concerning and did not align with what I would expect for safe and thorough care. I attempted to seek care with another OB/GYN for a second opinion, but was told my situation was too complex to take on mid-process, which left me without options for appropriate outpatient care. As a result, I am now in a position where I will likely have to return to the emergency room for further evaluation, which could have been avoided with more timely follow-up and guidance. My interactions with the medical assistant, Sarah, were at times dismissive and came across as passive-aggressive when I expressed concerns. This made an already stressful and emotional situation even more difficult to navigate. Patients in situations like this rely heavily on timely communication, clear guidance, and feeling heard. Unfortunately that was not my experience. I hope the office reviews its communication and follow-up processes to ensure patients with urgent or sensitive conditions receive the level of care and responsiveness they deserve.

Who ever made the appointment also failed to describe what a parking nightmare it is at the medical location and that the building doesn't even face the street making it hard to locate, furthermore the building is under construction and when you arrive to suite 405 there is 2 of them! I ended up waiting in the wrong one for over 20 minutes being ignored by the staff finally made it to the correct 405 suite and explained it to the girl and she blew me off. Then another staff member came and asked if I wanted to wait because it's their lunch and that's when I was informed of the 1 pm time. My husband is a medical professional and took off time to be with me but unfortunately had to return to work to see patients so now our moment to see the baby together and speak with the Dr. together is ruined. No words to explain the disappointment. The front desk is very unprofessional, immature, unapologetic, and cannot communicate. *** update *** I did blood work to find out the gender of my baby. I was told it would take 2 weeks to find out and I would be contacted by the office as soon as the results came in. 2 weeks came and went with no call. I ended up contacting the office myself to get the results. The results came in September 16, I called September 30. 14 days my results sat in the office and no phone call was made. Again precious moments ruined.

If I called with a question, a nurse was always able to assist me. I read the reviews of Dr. Mc. Farland and she was always very nice to me and knowledgeable. She took her time and answered all my questions. I was induced by her recommendation at 38 weeks and although that process wasn't ideal, I have a healthy and happy baby. I'm grateful for their treatment and care. The nurses are all nice and friendly. The only staff member I didn't care too much for is one of the ladies up front who works at the check in and check out counter. She has short black hair but I never got her name. She can be rude and makes you feel rushed. I didn't care for her attitude but don't feel my rating should be impacted by one person.
