Telephoned from Hampshire to buy a voucher for Mother's Day, friendly, proffessional lady answered my call. The voucher could either be posted or Mum could collect herself, went for collecting, thought she could book appointment at the same time.

Slightly esoteric in its nature, it has a lovely selection of natural remedies, essential oils and jewelry all sold by a very knowledgeable and charming vendor. My wife bought skin creams and an oil burner and I bought a lovely locally made shaving soap bar. We went back again last time we were in the area. Hard not to. The smell when you come in is so phantastic, this is not your average tourist souvenir shop, you come in and feel welcome, sort of at home, it's hard to describe. There is so much to discover, I easily spend an hour browsing, even though it's a small shop. Got to chat a bit with the lovely vendor, who is a trained herbalist, and she really knows her stuff, she gave me very good advice for my skin condition and I bought quite some stuff off her, could have bought the whole shop. We went back another time to stock up, sadly we haven't been able to go back to the highlands for a couple of years, I just wish we had a shop like this in Hamburg! This was a big deal because her hair is very long and she has never had the courage to get it cut (other than a trim of the ends). Of course, we were only there for 2 days, and the next day was to be spent on a day long tour of the area. However, the owner and her staff were able to fit my daughter in. And, then I saw information about a Lash Lift and I wanted to try that out. It requires a patch test the day before actually doing the treatment, so again, difficult to figure out the timing. But again, they came through and got me the patch test and an early appointment. My daughter loves her hair cut, (and my husband and I do, too!), and I got to try something new. Kudos to the owner and staff for fitting us in and taking such great care of us!
