I've always had trouble with my eyebrows--it's so uneven and one is always thinner and off-centered compared to the other. From ALL of the threading places I've ever been to (trust me, I've been to many), this lady was THE BEST! I'm just so upset I forgot to ask for her name! She evened it out, made my arch symmetrical on both sides, and I've never been happier with my eyebrows!! I'm from San Diego so I come from a place with lots of competition for threading salons and by far, this place leaves them in the dust...well I should say..the lady I had at this place leaves the other salons in the dust. I have been a lifelong eyebrow threading customer and because of my constant travels, I have…read moreliterally tried dozens of eyebrow threaders to know that they are divided into 3 main categories: (1) amazing ones who deliver consistently good service. These threaders could be fast or slow but they are very good at what they do. The shape always ends up being as good as you could have imagined or even better and they don't tear out your skin to get you the results. 2) are those threaders who appear to know what they are doing and may even do a painless job but the shape leaves you wanting more. They just do a good cleanup but in no way do they try to reshape the brows to achieve the "wow" factor. And finally 3) those are the ones you never ever want to see again. They not only mess up your brows but do so while either causing you pain and/or tearing your skin in the process. I have encountered very few people who fit into #1 and thanks to yelp have also been able to avoid a lot of encounters with #3's as well. Paru I would say falls into the middle of 1 and 2. She is very fast and she does a very painless job. For most of the time, she does deliver a good shape but from others I have tried, I know that the "wow" factor is not always there. I have left with a few pieces of hair that I notice afterwards and that's primarily because of the super fast job she is able to do. So why the 5*'s? In San Antonio, she had so far been my best choice. She is incredibly fast. She has never made me bleed or caused pain. For the most part she did try to work on the shape during the session and she is quite accommodating. If you've never tried threading before, she is definitely a good choice to start with.

She always shaped my brows to perfectly flatter my bone structure and face, and I would frequently get compliments. I occasionally consider booking a flight to San Antonio just to revisit this place. We were the only customers there so all of the ladies were pretty much just sitting around relaxing. I wasn't here for any services, I tagged along with my sister-in-law for her threading appointment. They were pretty quick with her eyebrows but did argue with her a little bit on how she wanted her eyebrows arched (I hate this). If you're in the area and need a nice threading salon, I'd definitely give this one a try...instead of the kiosks that have you sitting out in the middle of the mall so everyone can breathe on and gawk at you.
