She knew how important capturing the right moment was for us and caught the best photos during golden hour of our wedding. The best thing of all, we think, is she had the quickest turn around for our photos being ready. We were expecting to wait a month or so for our photos but we had our completely edited photos back from Kellene by the Tuesday after our wedding! That was only 3 days! You rock girl!

Honestly, the…read morebazaar was a little tacky and over-the-top for us, but we did find AVW Photography, which made the whole exhausting day worth it! Amy was like shelter in the storm! Her humor and warmth made us come back to her booth twice, and while the gorgeous photos she had displayed were very impressive, it was her personality that totally won us over. Your photographer is someone you spend a LOT of time with on your wedding day, and the idea that we might really like ours was very appealing. So we booked Amy, and I am so thrilled that we did! She was super fun, very professional, and gave us absolutely stunning images. We got over 1000 images, 17 were "enhanced" with these gorgeous effects, and best of all, we got digital images, so we can print and email them as we please! Our whole experience with her was amazing. We still get compliments on the photos, and friends and family comment on how dedicated she was to getting The Shot! I have six albums on facebook of photo highlights, since I just couldn't narrow down any more. If you are a same-sex couple and, like us, like to see that your potential vendor works with couples like you, fear not! Amy was the perfect choice for us, and we recommend her without hesitation :)

From engagement, wedding, 5 year anniversary to maternity, they've captured the most beautiful photos that we'll cherish forever! It's amazing how fast 8 years have gone by! We have a family photoshoot coming up and we are beyond excited to go back to Stow Lake where we had our first photoshoot for our engagement photos! They've also photographed a few of our friends for their wedding and maternity shoot as well and as always, the photos are as beautiful as can be! With so many different photography styles out there, I've always been drawn to the soft light and dreamy feel. Thank you Erika and Michael for consistently exceeding our expectations!

Here are the 5 reasons you need to hire Erika and Michael for your engagement and wedding shoots:…read more 1. They are super affordable for what is all included. Compared to other photographers I got quotes from, there was just so much more included with these guys it almost didn't seem possible! 2. There are two of them. Trust me - this is a HUGE added benefit. Just think about all of the moments in your wedding where you want a photo of more than one vantage point but won't get them with a single photographer. Think about when you're walking down the aisle - you want a photo of the grooms reaction too don't you? Maybe everyone is dancing with the cute flower girl but the cake comes out while everyone is distracted - perfect time to get both shots. 3. They are laid back and open to your ideas. Both of their demeanor is really relaxed and calm. This isn't as important during an engagement shoot, but during the craziness of a wedding it is really nice to have a team that is confident in what they do, with a quiet authority among wrangling family members, the chaos that comes with a wedding day's schedule of events, etc. I really wanted several specific photos and they were open to seeing my vision come to life and they captured it perfectly! 4. They have a fast turnaround. We were super surprised to get our engagement photos back so quickly! The wedding photos took longer - but that make sense as there were hundreds and hundreds of more photos taken on our big day. When we did get the photos the USB drive and couple of prints came in the cutest box EVER. 5. They got us featured on the main page of the Style Me Pretty blog! Their style is so well respected and admired by the blog already - but they had me fill out a few things and were able to get our photos and big day shared with the world for little girls out there to use as inspiration for their big day!

Danae photographed my wedding two weeks ago as well as engagement photos a few months ago. I just…read morereceived my wedding photos (only 13 days after my wedding!!!). Danae did a fantastic job. I talked with her previously about what style of photos I wanted, I like some formal shots but mostly candids. She really listened to my request and I was so happy to see that the photos were the style I wanted! It seems like all weddings have something(s) that go wrong. For our wedding, we were running very late and we had limited time to do photos. I was worried that we wouldn't get all the photos I wanted in such a short time, but Danae was amazing. Not only did she get all the photos I wanted, she had a great attitude and made the experience comfortable and fun. She is very professional and easy-going. I highly recommend Danae Jones Photography and have already recommended Danae to friends and family. Her prices are so great compared to other photographers in this area. I can't wait to book her for family portraits in the future.

Heather Espana will exceed your expectations and imagination. Heather was wonderful to work with for our summer 2009 wedding. She put my camera-shy husband at ease and we have some amazing photos to show for our wedding day. She's talented, creative, and fun. On top of that, she takes timeless photos. Case in point: my grandmother was never one for smiling. I cannot find a photo of her in which she was really, genuinely smiling. But she had one of the most hilarious, unexpected (though not always dignified) laughs when she found something funny. At our wedding, Heather snapped the most spontaneous, truly "Grandma Pam" photo I've ever seen. Dancing with my brother to an Andrews Sisters tune, she was truly in her element, smiling widely and breathless from laughing, about two seconds away from declaring, "Oh! Youuuuu!" She died unexpectedly, nearly two months to the day that the photo was taken. Heather not only captured the essence of a moment, she captured a person, and I am so grateful I have that photo to remember her by.
