Avoid at All Costs…read more First red flag: there's a QR code on the table, but it's not the menu. After 15 minutes of being completely ignored, the waitress finally informs us that in the afternoon there's an "abbreviated" menu -- essentially a stripped-down, even worse version of the real thing. Then came the comedy of errors: after multiple failed attempts to enter our simple order into her device, she returned to tell us we'd have to pay in advance because "a lot of customers leave without paying." Classy. We complied, only because we'd already wasted so much time (hello, sunk-cost fallacy). The "Limonade" turned out to be 7-Up. The Caesar salad was less a recipe than a cry for help -- a sad pile of lettuce crowned with completely charred bacon. If the real Caesar Cardini were still around, he'd have taken the first flight from Tijuana just to haunt this kitchen. Save yourself the pain. If you're looking to part with your money for zero satisfaction, just throw it straight into the lake -- it'll be a more rewarding experience.
