I called in to their office in a complete panic over my dog being so sick and choking so hard he would pass out and he's too big to load in the truck alone to the get to the vet office 25 minutes away. He dropped his afternoon for my boy on a the eve of holiday, to come to our home and take care of my baby with the most kind disposition. He wasn't, or at least didn't act, put out or irritated that he came to my Max. just a sweet bedside manner for my senior boy. We are new to the area and this is our family's first puppy. The staff and doctor have been great. Very friendly and we have a healthy puppy. They did the neutering for our pup and he came back happy and he healed very well. Everything about here is great. We will keep coming for the rest of our pups life. I love the staff. read more

I don't even feel they deserve one star but that is the lowest I can rate this clinic. My dog became sick with bleeding in the mouth, foul odor, and my vet was not in on the day I needed to see a vet. Therefore I made an appointment at this clinic. The vet told me she couldn't tell where the bleeding was coming from in the mouth and would need to sedate my dog in order to determine cause. She brought me back to show me what she had found. Seeing my dog semi-unconscious and blood everywhere from the vet's examination was upsetting enough, but she pulled up the upper lid of his mouth to show me several black flat spots on his upper gums and said it was cancer. I asked her how sure she was of her diagnosis of cancer, and she told me 90 % sure. She wanted to do an xray of my dog's head to see if the cancer had spread to his head and lungs, and I agreed to let her do so. She had me wait outside and then brought me back in to say she didn't see that the cancer had spread. She prescribed an antibiotics because she felt with the foul smell that there was some sort of infection and she also prescribed pain killers -- to keep him comfortable. She told me oral cancer is aggressive and instructed me to watch for signs of him not eating, retreating from me - etc -- that the bleeding would NOT stop and that it would/could be just a matter of time before I would need to make a decision as to putting him down. I left this clinic completely devastated and shaken to the core. I immediately called my vet's office to see him the next day to just make sure what prescriptions she had given me were appropriate. Within 24 hours of her diagnosis, I was at my regular vet's office being told the flat black/dark spots on his upper gums were ulcers!!! Within the 24 hour period from starting antibiotics, the swelling had slightly reduced, the foul smell had much improved and the bleeding was much less. I would NEVER EVER go back to this vet again. She told me she was 90% sure my dog had an aggressive form of oral cancer -- and to watch for signs of him worsening -- to make the decision as to when to put him down -- that at this point, it was about keeping him comfortable -- that the bleeding would not stop!!! I walked out having paid a $300 plus bill for a FALSE DIAGNOSIS not to mention the emotional duress I experienced from this inaccurate diagnosis! Within one week of being on the antibiotics, my dog's ulcers were completely gone, no foul smell at all, and bleeding had completely stopped. I am beyond floored as to the vast difference in diagnosis between this vet and my vet. It's been about 2-3 months since this incident, and my dog is as healthy as can be for a senior dog. read more

They care as much for my pets as I do. My dog was extremely ill from the day we brought him home.The vet worked his vet magic and I have a healthy 50 lb dog now and still growing.The staff are friendly and helpful.They will answer any question no matter how stupid it sounds, just ask they will be happy to put any concerns you have to rest.I trust this vet with my dogs, and cats lives.If they read this review.... Be very careful of this vet. I believe they don't always take proper precautions and at least one pet died during a routine surgery. They didn't say what happened just the pet died. Terribly sad and a terrible loss. I'm sure the vet will read this so when you do, I'm begging you PLEASE don't take shortcuts. Don't take chances with animal's lives. Don't allow techs to do surgery. People pay for an experienced veterinarian, not a tech, for surgery and other complicated procedures. Don't pass up safety precautions to save money which is what I assume might have happened this time. Be sure to do pre-anesthesia blood work and examine the animal to be sure it's safe to do surgery. If there's any doubt don't operate, especially if it's a routine spay/neuter. Don't operate on animals who are highly stressed or sick or both. Be sure to give them meds to calm them down before anesthesia. Be sure to always use the safest anesthesia even if it costs a little more. Be sure to always place an IV and give the animal fluids prior to and during surgery. Always monitor the animal's heart and other vitals before and during the surgery. Consider spay/neuter the serious surgery it is and be careful and pay attention to small details. Be sure they are fasting before you do spay/neuter. Be sure the animal is not dehydrated, malnourished, starving. Their resistance is low if they are starving and surgery could be too hard on their heart. Do NOT vaccinate animals who are being operated on as you cannot tell if there is a reaction and because it's too much stress on their bodies to deal with recovery from both at the same time. Treat every animal as though it is the most precious creature on the earth. All living things deserve that and especially from a veterinarian who is supposed to help them and give them safe haven. read more
