Wow. I'll say that the USO is perhaps the one thing about Fort Lee that's not absolutely terrible…read more I don't even know why they would have one of these here; I had thought that USOs were resting spots for traveling soldiers at airports. Well, this USO is a nifty resting spot from everything that I hate about Fort Lee. Need a break from the grueling heat? They actually have working air conditioning here as well as an infinite supply of clean water. Want to get away from all those annoying NCOs who are always breathing down your neck? You'll see none of them here. What you'll find here instead is just about everything that was previously making you miserable, but completely fixed. They actually have working high-speed internet here, and it's completely free. You can bring your own laptop in and use their Wi-Fi or you could use one of their five or so laptops that are connected to the same Wi-Fi. TV and video games, you'll find those here too. All for you to use for free. Pretty sweet when your life is that of a Quartermaster Soldier in training, huh? They even have food here. Not real substantial food that you can make a meal out of, but at least it's stuff like bagels and cookies. Not bad, and you also get one free Monster drink per day if you present your military ID and sign your name on a checkboard. Yes, this place is the good to balance out all the evil that you probably have to put up with while staying at Fort Lee. My only complaints are that the laptops are always full and the men's bathroom is always out of soap. Be sure to snatch up a computer when one is free and don't budge when you've secured your seat! To solve the soap problem, just bring your own or use hand sanitizer!

The USO Fort Lee even offered to pay for the video to be sent to my children. Thank you for your service and making the transition very smooth. You guys rock!

When we moved to the Prince George area I called around to many schools in the area. Jennifer was…read morethe first to call me back. The kids here enjoy a bully free zone. They are able to dance and never worry about being bullied. The instructors here are all great.

This place is a nightmare- their competition dancers are fine, but the rest they couldn't care less…read moreabout. Their tap classes are a joke, utilizing the same moves from Kinderdance to advanced. Their gymnastics classes don't even get to flips, just cartwheels, and their jazz is average. Ballet is good. Her business is kept afloat by a few key families which you'll notice during their end of year recital because they are in 6-8 dances a piece. There is a heavy focus on costumes, props, and wandering around the stage rather than ACTUAL dancing, and their recital gets very boring very quickly. But that's just the icing on the cake- don't plan to use your card to pay for anything besides the classes- almost everything is cash only. Their teachers play favorites, and those that didn't departed abruptly in the middle of the year surrounding a few rumors that were less than kind about the owner. Regardless as to the truth of said rumors, it is quite obvious that there is a LOT of drama going on and it is significantly, (and detrimentally), affecting her business. There are several costs at various times that crop up out of nowhere- can't be in the parade unless the OUTER layer says Dance Kraze, have to wear the right colored tights (and if your class has two outfits, it's different colors for each), super expensive & poor quality pictures, etc etc. The end of the season is BRUTAL in unexpected expenses, so just be prepared. It's also run through her friends and family, which probably has a lot to do with the expense. With perhaps one exception (Thank you Jason), her event staff is indescribably rude and disrespectful, in addition to being inconsistent. Gods forbid you say anything about it, because they will get in your face and try to power play you to get you to cower in submission and retreat. Or ignore you. Or try to walk through you. Not a place I will ever be returning to. And yet the biggest problem is the fact that the recital was held in a school with LIVE CAMERAS and there were girls CHANGING IN THE HALLWAYS WHO WERE NOT TOLD, DESPITE the fact that the dance studio was informed. Well beyond acceptable to me. We will most DEFINITELY not be returning next year.
