So the hot melty chocolate chip cookie is one of a kind. And it's equally good days later (or weeks later from my freezer). Beascakes probably loads in more chocolate than any other baker I know. I really want to give this place a better rating. My problem with them is that they never pick up their phone. When they are busy in the mornings the phone just keeps ringing or they pick it up for a split second and hang up. How inept can this staff be that that one person can pick up the phone and take an order? I have attempted at least 4 times to order cakes without success. The one time I did get through, they told me the order had to made 3 weeks in advance. Outrageous. I have always loved this bakery but now it is impossible to use them. Fortunately there are several other very good bakeries in the area. Try La Tulipe in Mt Kisco or D'anjou in Mt Kisco. They have much better customer service and equally delicious cakes read more

Their custom custom creations always exceed my expectations, both in terms of appearance and flavor. On the one rare occasion that their bake was less than perfect, they took complete responsibility for it and quickly made replacement cupcakes for me on very short notice. I've been going to Beas for 10+ years and her baked goods are consistently the best in Westchester. I'm particularly partial to her scones -- they are crunchy on the outside and flaky, almost biscuit like on the inside -- everything you've ever wanted from a scone. I keep a couple of her scones at home for a mid-day treat because they are so addicting. Missing frozen yogurt in Armonk? Bees has it! Delicious frozen yogurt with great texture. There are so many wonderful things that are prepared in this excellent bakery, from cakes, to cookies, donuts, drinks, and ice cream's, but there's nothing better than the chocolate chip cookies made in this bakery. Changes the way you view chocolate chip cookies and I doubt you will ever find another bakery that can even come close. Every time I visit my customers, I always swing by and pick up a dozen or more cookies so I can treat my customers to a real treat. After years of wondering how this bakery was, I finally stopped in one day this summer. It's a blessing (and a curse) having a bakery like this, it's so good it's hard to resist. Everything I have tried there is incredible especially those chocolate chip cookies. I had cookies and cream cake and cupcakes made up for my sons second birthday. They not only tasted incredible, they looked incredible. They did Sesame Street characters and a Mickey Mouse face for his cake. I couldn't believe how lifelike they were. Chose this bakery because it was close to the location I was holding a baby shower for my sister. Service from start to finish was great. I ordered a strawberry shortcake for a party of 40 and they nailed the design. The cake was delicious and moist. They even added a beautiful pink colored cake on the inside which everyone loved. I drove here a few weekends ago to sample one of their cakes. Upon entering, I saw quite a few beautifully decorated cakes, so I was immediately excited and couldn't wait to try one. The bakery was busy - it was late on a Sunday morning, so it's to be expected. I asked one of the girls who worked there if she could tell me about the cakes, to which she seemed less than enthusiastic. One of the cakes looked like it was covered in shaved coconut, so I asked what type of cake it actually was, and she looked at me and said, "coconut." Duh! Anyway, I saw what appeared to be a cookies and cream cake, which she confirmed. I asked if it had buttercream frosting, and after asking who appeared to be her manager, she said yes. After paying what I felt was a high price for a tiny cake ($29), I couldn't wait to get home and try it. When I tasted it, I couldn't believe it - it was whipped cream icing, and a bland one at that! I was so angry! Maybe it doesn't matter to most people what's covering their cake, but it matters to me. I didn't drive to Armonk and pay a hefty price to get something that I didn't want. Boo to that. To be fair, the cake itself was really good - chocolatey and moist - and the filling was fresh whipped cream and cookies. I think if you know what you're getting, Beas Cakes will provide a good cake - I just didn't get what I wanted. Between that and the price, I'd say this place is so-so. I have been a regular customer at this shop for the past 4 years and this record obviously points to the desirable quality of their products. However I was appalled by the treatment I encountered this morning when one of the shop assistants (a young woman in her early twenties with a fair complexion and thick black eyebrows) blatantly refused to serve me, after having waited in line and reached the counter where she was supposed to be taking orders. Her hostile attitude and refusal to serve me prompted customers behind me to intervene. However as she reluctantly took my orders she would refuse a promotional offer from Yelp (one free cookie), without explaining why. This promotion is still going on at the time of this writing. It is important to note that I did not shop there because of the promotion. It is the overall attitude and treatment by this shop and the assistant in particular which is prompting this feedback. I finished my purchase quickly and left the shop, angry over this unexpected experience. I have thought about whether I may have upset her or the shop in any other way but could not come up with any. The only reason is that I look Asian. I am not returning to the shop if it is their policy to discriminate against customers in such a way, in this day and age, and will tell all my friends and acquaintances about this experience until there is an apology. I therefore give the shop 1 star rating because of the shameful way that particular shop assistant had behaved and the shop's inherent condoning of such behavior as representative of what ought to have been a congenial and friendly environment. read more

I've been frequenting this Beascakes at least three times a week since we moved to the area. First of all, the iced coffee has coffee ice cubes, which means your coffee is always perfect. Second the baked goods are really the best in the area. My favorites are the chocolate chip cookies and the cherry chocolate coffee cake. Mmmm!!!
