We had Hans (Beartooth owner) take down a large red pine located near the house in Ely as well as trim some limbs on a second pine and take down a maple tree. His work was amazing and completed quickly and on time with no problems. He kept us updated of the work and cleaned up everything. Thanks Hans for a job well done. read more

Excellent company to work with. They came when promised and actually didn't have to remove one tree…read moreof the two we wanted removed. They just trimmed it since it was still solid but did remove one more that had a long split in the trunk and could break off with a strong wind. Austin and Aurora were very professional and knowledgeable and educated us on what problems to look for on our other trees so we can keep them healthy. Excellent experience with Dutchman Tree Service and we recommend them highly. PS: They also offer financing which only took a couple minutes to get approved.

This was not an easy project as our property is located on Moose Lake and is 'lake access only'. Austin was true to his word, collaborated with someone with a 'barge' to get his equipment across, and really did a FABULOUS job! With the wildfires this year, we're so thankful we hired the Dutchman to do the work last year. In May '24, we planted a total of 50 red/white pines, and with all the rain in spring and early summer we've only lost FOUR. Thanks again to the Dutchman! Great company to work with and you can trust!

We hired Beartooth this past week to remove 10 dead and/or dying larger trees - birch, spruce, and red pine - that were too close to our cabin and other other outbuildings. Not only did Beartooth Tree Service meet our expectations they far exceeded them. There was very little sign of trees having been removed because their clean up was so thorough! There were no branches - large or small - left behind and the sawdust was almost nonexistent. And if that wasn't enough to have exceeded our expectations, they went the extra mile and cleaned off an accumulation of dead branches and moss that had been on the roof for a number of years. In addition, they swept off a porch leaving no sign of sawdust.... and the wood we wanted to keep they had beautifully cut to firewood size and stacked. Their rate was very reasonable and for the quality of work and excellent customer service they should be charging more! I highly recommend Beartooth Tree Removal! read more

We hired Beartooth Tree Service for the removal of five large trees that were too close to our house. Hans surveyed the situation, wrote a detailed bid, which we accepted, then they got to work. Hans is a chainsaw magician! He felled those trees without hitting our home or structures. He was professional, easy to communicate with and friendly. After the safe felling of the trees, he and Brent cut everything up and removed all the branches and debris. We can't say enough good things about Beartooth Tree Service. read more

Called Hans off an ad in the paper. He called back right away and cam out the same day. I had several very tricky trees that seemed ready to fall towards my house. He took them down the same day as a storm was supposed to come that evening. His price was very fair and and his professionalism is outstanding. He even showed me a couple tips on how do improve my personal technique with a chainsaw. I would recommend Beartooth to everyone! read more
