Shyster! This guy will rip you off. Mr. Beard took a $3,000 retainer to investigate a real estate matter. He did some initial work and told me nothing could be done. The matter languished in his file for several months. I wrote and told him not to pursue the matter further and please refund the balance of the retainer. After several more months, he wrote with an itemized statement showing that he got very busy 10 days AFTER my letter told him to quit. His phantom tasks used all the retainer except $350, which he sent. I returned his $350 check and wrote that he owes me $1,850 for all the work he claims to have done AFTER my letter fired him. More months have gone by. The tasks he claims to have completed are fraudulent. Why after all that time would he suddenly get busy and do 5 hours of research? It's bogus! Lyndell Beard mishandled trust account funds. read more

Attorney Beard handled a complicated probate estate for me. He is open, honest, and professional. He was upfront about his fees, gave me honest assessments of what to expect, and educated me on what I should/should not do as Personal Representative. Highly recommend him. read more

After waiting 10 days for an appointment with Mr. Beard in a time sensitive matter, he has the audacity to have someone from his office call me less than 24 hours before my schedule appointment to cancel on me. In fact, the call came after 5p resulting in no way to contact another attorney by tomorrow. If you know your personal policy isolates specific contract issues, this should be addressed at the time of the appointment. I would urge others to not risk this situation and speak with an attorney that has a better integrity for your time. read more

We had a dispute with a trucker who was advised by Mr. Beard. When my husband called him to negotiate a solution, Mr. Beard cussed repeatedly and did not even let my husband say one word to try and solve the problem. We have never heard a professional in any field handle a situation so profanely and unprofessional. His complete lack of composure and listening skills will not serve anyone well who hires him! read more
