Wonderland Records is a Newark, Delaware icon. From the time I got my driver's license (many moons…read moreago), I've been a sporadic customer at Wonderland. This establishment served as a form of resistance in a far less tolerant time period (1970s). What is now common place and acceptable in terms of a business offering, was part of a counter-culture movement at the time of Wonderland's inception. Through the years they've helped clear the path to get us where we are today. What's also of incalculable value is that the owner, Dimitri, is someone who similarly grew up in Wonderland and understands the mantle he carries as the owner of an historical landmark.
