Had a locksmith from Bear Creek Lock and Safe come out to changes the locks on my house. Evan arrived on time and sent me a text ahead of time to confirm he was on the way along with his ETA. Evan was polite and professional. He was also very efficient at his job. He was in and out in no time. He also double-checked his work to make sure he had done everything correctly before leaving. The price was also reasonable for the work done. Based on my experience, I would recommend Bear Creek Lock and Safe for all your locksmith needs. read more

Locked keys inside the vehicle. They were quick and had it opened in under thirty minutes. Thank you Evan!!

I needed a replacement key for my late husband's truck. I called the shop and answered questions about ownership and the title. They couldn't verify over the phone, but were prompt in taking down the necessary information when I arrived and we made arrangements for having someone come to the house to complete the work. Tysen called and texted that he was running ahead of schedule, but made sure it would work for me. He showed up with the truck and finished grinding it within 10 minutes. He left me with an extra blank in case I ever lose the only key again, even commenting politely about the loud dogs. I'll be taking the new key in to them this week for spares. Nice folks! read more

The young locksmith that came to my recue was punctual, professional and explained everything that was broken with my front door lock. *DO NOT RECOMMEND THIS BUSINESS TO ANYONE! Would give 0 stars if possible. Purchased 3 keys from this place 10/8/24. 3 copies of my house key. I returned home and tried to use said key that was made and the key got stuck in my door nob and damaged the lock on the door nob. I could not get the key to remove for about 20 minutes, I was finally able to finagle the key out of the lock hole which damaged the inner center of the lock. I contacted bear creek lock and safe, and spoke to the manager Chris, about a resolution and his reply is: 1. I take my door nob off my FRONT DOOR to my house and take it down to them so they can look at it (meanwhile how is my door going to close and stay closed while I leave to take the door nob down there? I have pets that could get out the door). 2. They could come to my house and look at my door nob but I'd be charged a service fee for them coming to my house. 3. He stated I could've called them at the time thier key was stuck in my door, which again would've resulted in me paying a service charge for them coming to my house. Chris claims they warranty thier keys, but this is far from any kind of warranty. They didn't make the key correctly so it got stuck in my door nob and damaged it beyond repair, so now I'm out the 3 keys I purchased from them and now have to replace my door nob again due to damages from thier key, when I just replaced it 5 days ago. This is my 2nd time doing business with this company and each time I've gone in there, they quality of the keys, and the quality of the customer service absolutely have failed in every aspect. There are several other places in the valley that make keys, I suggest going anywhere but here. This place will make you waste your money. read more

The Black Bird hardware store recommended Bear Creek Lock & Safe for cutting blank remote keys which I purchased from Amazon. Only $4 per key to duplicate from the original key. The duplicate keys worked fine. And I was able to program them at home with the Universal EZ Installer OBD plug (from AutoZone) and its iOS app. It was for 2015 Jeep Wrangler. They accept contractless payments. Highly recommended. read more

I hear they can do auto keys that have the chip too. Personally, I stay with what works and this biz has never let me down. From quick service to keeping their appointments and having competitive rates, why would I go elsewhere? read more

I lost the combination to my two Master locks. When I went into the kiosk, they were polite and professional but quoted me $15 to just make a call to get the combination. The locks didn't even cost that much! Needless to say, I was very disappointed. I went elsewhere. The other place made the call and charged me nothing. I won't go to this place again. read more

I just flew into town to have my 99-year-old grandmother's safety deposit box lock changed, after she lost both keys. The bank told me I'd need to make an appointment a couple of days ahead for a locksmith to meet me at the bank. So I looked around and this company looked reputable. I made an appointment and a nice young man texted me to assure me he would meet me at the agreed upon time. Then I arrived at the bank to learn they had failed to specify I needed to use their one specific locksmith. I was so frustrated and embarrassed and immediately texted the locksmith I had booked to let him know. These folks couldn't have been nicer or more understanding. I actually expected to be charged for the late cancellation. They simply wished me good luck with my predicament. If I need a locksmith again, I wouldn't hesitate to call this company. read more

Really disappointed with Bear Creek Lock. I bought a new to me motorcycle & one of the accessories had a lock & no key. I stopped by to have them name a key, expecting it would take a bit of time, but I've had it done at other locksmiths before. The first time is show up they acted like this was an unusual request. I explained that it didn't come with a key for that particular accessory. They fumbled around with a key for about 10 minutes, then told me I had to come back another time, that they didn't have time to work on it, they had too much other stuff a head of me. I was the only one in their shop. That was on a Friday I showed up on Tuesday again to get a key made. The guy working in the shop made all kinds of excuses why he couldn't take care of it. As I turned to walk out he found tell I was annoyed, especially after I told him I had already been there once before. He again tried fumbling with the lock, then told me he had too much other stuff to work on & that I needed to come back. Sorry, but I will never be back. You've lost this customer! read more

Very nice locksmith, Alonso, came out and rekeyed our new home today. I liked they text you their name prior to their service call. He texted when he was going to be a few minutes late. Jose came the other day on very short notice to change all the locks on my house and garage. Not only did he do it in a timely manner, but he offered to grind down part of the old garage door so it was easier to dead bolt. Very professional and would recommend to anyone. read more

Charlie was efficient, knowledgeable, and friendly. I needed duplicate keys of a Schlage G type blank, which was relatively rare in this town, but when I called Bear Creek Lock, they quickly found the correct key over the phone. Upon arrival, I was warmly greeted and my duplicates were completed in minutes. Charlie simultaneously educated me about the nuances about the Schlage G type key that made its previous/failed duplication at another store a easy mistake. Charlie guaranteed the keys' success, but they would be easily refunded if not. Two Schlage G type duplicates totaled at $9.00. Bear Creek Lock Safe & Alarm Inc. will be my definite choice for the next specialized key I need duplicated. read more

Alonso arrived early, was patient when I wasn't quite ready. Friendly, efficient, organized and re-keyed the door with a sub master after checking other sub masters to ensure no duplication. Chris did a great job. I managed to lock myself out of my house (a first I think) and it didn't take too long for him to get me back in.
