This is probably our go-to spot on the boardwalk. The food itself is pretty mediocre, but the prices are reasonable and the portions are generous.
I got the brisket bowl, which was actually pretty good. The meat had a nice flavor--decent texture, not too chewy or dry. What really made it stand out was the nacho cheese and grilled onions on top; that was a great touch.
I forgot the exact name of the hot dog, but I think it was the Mexican Street Hot Dog. It was pretty tasty. It's not bacon-wrapped, but they use bacon bits instead, which works fine. My only real complaint was the bun--it wasn't toasted or heated on the grill, so it lacked that nice texture.
Service was okay. Overall, this is a decent spot for a theme park barbecue place. You're not getting authentic Texas BBQ here, but for the price and portion sizes, it's worth it. read more
