This review is specifically for their gingerbread man. I nearly missed them as they were cheerfully hanging from a string above the cabinets. But thankfully another customer pointed them out as I was starting to Google for other bakeries in the local area. I'm pleased she did! It was everything you want in a gingerbread man. He was soft with reasonable moisture content. Decent size and a good amount of ginger. You knew you were eating a gingerbread man for sure. Good proportions of icing and 3 smarty buttons, in a variety of colours. It came in at $3 which I think is reasonable. I would have been particularly ecstatic if it was $2.50...but I guess they know they have a good product and gingerbread men aficionados will pay up... Staff were friendly and asked my son which one he would like (this is important for a young kid when picking out their gingerbread men). Side note, the chicken rolls in the display looked awesome. Packed with salad. So I'm likely to go back for another gingerbread man with a side of chicken roll. Well done beach bakery, keep up the good work! read more
