I had a deep tissue massage from Shantoll and it was the best massage I've ever had in my life! You know those people you meet that have such a kind vibe you instantly feel comfy around them? She was like that! Then during the massage she asked for my feedback on the pressure a couple of times and I appreciated that. I went in there with a stiff painful neck after sleeping wrong and she not only fixed that, she went above and beyond. 24 hours later my whole upper body is more mobile then it's been in forever! She got into tension I didn't even realize I was holding. I highly recommend this spa and while treating yourself to these things is never cheap, Awakenings is definitely on the more affordable side of the spectrum.

I'm definitely going to have to spring for at least one more. The combination of Eileen's handywork and the correct balance of products has my skin looking and feeling fantastic. Her facial was awesome because she took the time to address the fact that I have true combination skin and you can tell she really knows her stuff. Plus she's super sweet and easy to talk to. The salon itself is adorable. It's open and bright in the front area and it is decorated in soothing light tones with silver accents. It's got a really classic cape cod style feel to it that's very cozy. Everyone was very welcoming and friendly while I waited for my appointment and the two times I've called to make appointments the receptionists are lovely. I'm really impressed with the quality of the service and the over all experience here for the price point. I live in Boston and to get a service of this caliber in Boston you'd be paying double. I'm not saying it is inexpensive, I'm saying that Boston prices are insane. The price point at Karyne and Co. is appropriate for the high quality service they provide and I highly recommend investing in your skincare here.

I have a rheumatoid arthritis…read moreand several other conditions that cause it to be very difficult to move to do just your daily activities. The first year coming to Nancy it changed my life. I was able to become more active less pain. One thing she couldn't help me with was the extent of damage that I had in my cervical spine. April of 2025 I went in for surgery at the Brigham and Women's they ended up doing seven laminectomies in my cervical spine from C2 and then all the way down into my thoracic spine to t4. I now have rods and screws from C2 down to T4. I was in the rehab for 2 months and they didn't address my neck, my neck muscles or my neck pain from the surgery. When I got home once I was cleared I started coming back to Nancy and I now see her twice a week where she does infrared heat therapy Incorporated with other massage tools. The main issue I have now is the muscles because they had to cut through my muscles to do the surgery there are some days that my muscles just tighten up so severely that I can't pick my head up. But with coming to Nancy twice a week that doesn't happen as often as it did. I am now able to hold my head up which I could not before. The therapy I get with Nancy relaxes the muscles in my neck and in my back because of this I get up every morning I get washed and dressed and make breakfast myself and my husband and I go about my day where before most days I was in bed most of the day.

NANCY IS A MUST SEE!!!…read more Heavenly Himalayan Salt Stone Massage - A Must-Try Experience I recently indulged in a Himalayan salt stone massage for my birthday, and it was pure bliss from start to finish. The warmth of the salt stones instantly melted away tension, and the gentle pressure helped ease deep muscle knots without the intensity of a deep tissue massage. I hold all my stress in my neck and back and she relieved such pressure. What sets this treatment apart is the salt stones themselves--they're rich in minerals and left my skin feeling incredibly soft and nourished. The heat was soothing and helped me feel both relaxed and rejuvenated. I also noticed a calming effect that lingered well beyond the session, almost like a detox for the mind and body. The ambiance was serene, and Nancy was attentive and skilled, her modality and spa was amazing, the whole experience felt luxurious yet grounding. If you're looking for something deeply relaxing with added wellness benefits, I can't recommend a Himalayan salt stone massage enough. It's not just a treat--it's therapy! This was such a wonderful birthday treat!!
