The second time I visited the shop was to pick up the free wax melts that were a part of the Dutch host inn package. Since it was just me I was able to ask about the candles. They pour all of them right there! There was a great selection of sizes, scents and jars. I love that they have lilac, basically my ultimate favorite scent. It can be harder to find. I left with a giraffe candle and a lilac candle (in addition to my wax melts). The shop does take credit cards but there is a four percent fee if you pay that way. If you are going to Walnut Creek farms it is right down the street from the entrance. Definitely worth a visit and a place I'll be back to!

I was driving home from work one day when I saw this building that had an eye popping sign and had…read morea really strange name. So from that first glance of Quonset Hut I had to look them up online, when I looked them up I learned they were a music store, a smoke shop, a skate shop, clothing shop, and disc golf shop. So from what I learned of the store I had to check it out for myself so I told my wife about Quonset Hut and we both came into the store to check it out. The first thing I noticed when I walked into the shop that they had a big selection of new & used records, posters of movies & bands, giant selection of incense, and a small skate shop section with skateboard decks, stickers, and skateboard needs. The guy who was working the skate shop section was named Mitch, and I have to say that Mitch was one of the coolest people I have met so far since moving to Ohio, plus he had great customer service. One of the things that made Mitch pretty awesome was his tattoo of Tic Tok who is a character from the 1985 movie Return to Oz which doesn't get enough love. You can find the smoke shop section of the store in the back of the shop. Quonset Hut has a massive selection of smoke pipes, grinders, bongs, and pretty much everything you need for your smoking needs. The last part of Quonset Hut that I looked at was the disc golf section, which had all your Disc Golf needs. I don't know much about Disc Golf but the staff was very knowledgeable. My wife thought Quonset Hut was pretty epic as well, she was helped by Haley who was very friendly, quite knowledgeable about all the smoke shop had to offer. My wife got herself a brand new bong and she got herself a custom Oogie boogie pipe, which she loves so freaking much. Everything inside Quonset Hut is reasonably priced, you will not break the bank shopping at Quonset Hut. If you make you way to Quonset Hut right now they are having a 50% off Summer Sale. I got a brand new Thrasher snapback hat with an Alien on it and the Thrasher logo on the side, I am a huge snapback hat guy. My collection of snapbacks is almost 40 hats strong. So if you are ever driving through Canton Ohio you really need to check out Quonset Hut, it's a shop of many wonders that has been serving up its patrons since 1969.

So much here to see here. It can get a little crowded so you have to navigate around everyone but it's so worth it. I actually have never bought anything because it's hard to travel back to California with extra things. If I lived here I would by gifts for holidays and special occasions. When you walk up from the back parking lot, they have an awesome truck fountain and they have it set up really cute. They have three separate building you can shop in. I also love the photo opportunity on the grass area. So neat for a family picture. Would have loved to get my grandkids pictures there but they weren't with us. Parking was easy but very packed. Pretty rugged terrain to be honest. I have a bronco and that was fine but a smaller passenger car might have had some issues. Lots of divots and uneven ground. 1 way in and 1 way out. Ok going in. More challenging going out. Narrow driveway. 2 food trucks and some sweets trucks. The 2 food trucks seemed overwhelmed. Heard the hot dog truck ran out of hot dogs by 1:30p. Long lines at everything. We chose to not eat there. The artisans were good. They had about 30 or so. Some inside a barn and some outside. Some repeats with candle people being the most. The barn is nice looking. But with lots of people it was very hot on a day where it was 85 degrees. They should have some fans on the ceiling to just move some air. There is cement stairs and a railing to help people walk in to the barn. The event was focused around the flowering fields. It was $30 to pick some flowers and take them home. Here is the thing. I thought $30 was high. But plenty of people paid. You get a little vase 1 size and some scissors. Then off you go picking as many as you want that fit in to your vase. However, again by 1:30p it seemed like slim pickings literally. They are still taking money and it's a long line but most of the flowers seemed picked already. Our friends were out there and were struggling to fill the vase and get their moneys worth. Not a repeat for me. Love the idea. Just thought the execution was poor. Not the artisans fault so that is the score. I want to support local and small biz so I am being more generous than I would if it was just the farm and picking flowers.

I noticed couples, families with young children, and groups of friends all enjoying themselves. You can pay with exact cash, credit card, or Venmo. The owners point you toward the best flowers currently in bloom and make sure you know how welcome you are. If you bring the cup back at any future event, you will get $5 off your next purchase. I picked well over $30 worth of some of the most beautiful and diverse flowers I've ever seen - much better than any bouquet I could find in a local store (although many local stores in NE Ohio sell Bloom Hill's blooms). Their website shares the backstory of the farm and includes lots of fun events they have planned such as a dedicated date night experience, classes that allow you to cut your own flowers and then teaches you how to arrange them, activities for children, and special events that include bouncy houses, live music, food trucks and more. Coming on a laid back Saturday evening was the perfect experience in my opinion. Not too crowded and so many flowers to choose from! I cannot wait to come back - this will definitely be my go-to whenever I want a pick me up.
