Also, we don't live in San Diego so we didn't have anyone to hold our dog during pictures that didn't include her, and he was amazing at wrangling her while simultaneously shooting shots of just the two of us! He was also an absolute godsend on our wedding day. When we got our first batch of photos from BE Studios after the wedding, my husband told Billy that he was both shocked and completely unsurprised at the same time with how amazing the photos were. I booked Billy for our family photos based on a recommendation from friends. Our uncooperative crew included a 3 month old daughter, a 2 and half year old son, an exceptionally energetic and neurotic dog, a mother-in-law who hates having her picture taken, and a mom who requested a light-unfriendly mid-morning session time because NAPS (me, I'm that mom). I cannot say enough good things about Billy and his team! We hired BE studios for our photography and videography for our wedding at Scripps Seaside Forum in October 2019. We hired him based off of a recommendation from our friend, and we did not do engagement photos, so our first time meeting Billy was on our wedding day. From the second he walked through the door, he made everyone in the room feel at ease. He kept things moving and on schedule without making us feel rushed. Everyone on his team was so friendly and worked flawlessly together. We had quite a large team of people from BE studios, but we never even noticed the cameras at the ceremony/reception. The end product was AMAZING! We were blown away by our photos and video. Everything exceeded our expectations. Billy had our sneak peak photos to us (over 100 photos) less than a week after the wedding and the rest of the photos just a few weeks later. Our package included re-touching on 50 photos, but honestly they all already looked so perfect that we have yet to even get any of them re-touched. The highlight video was also done way sooner than expected (just over a month after the wedding) and it showcased all the best parts of the day perfectly. The prices are extremely reasonable compared to other photographer and videographers, yet the quality far exceeds that of others. Billy contributed to making wedding planning easy. He didn't hound us with information when planning and let us ask questions. He told us his basic plan for videography and listened to our hopes from there. Billy got to our venue before my husband and I did and didn't waste a second! By the time I arrived he said he already did shots of my wedding dress, details shots, venue shots etc. He didn't waste time. I appreciate a person who knows their job and doesn't sit around waiting for direction. How long do you have to wait to get a video? Billy got us an edited highlight clip that was more than 6 minutes long within THREE weeks from our wedding date. His contract says he will get it to you within 2 months but this guy is DEDICATED to his craft and will work his butt off to get you the best looking, best sounding video, as soon as possible. Any other details I should know before I pick BE Studios?: Billy is super easy to communicate with. He is enthusiastic. He is fun. He makes videos unique to each couple.
