It's the perfect way to decompress right before your flight and get a full body chair massage while relaxing and getting circulation flowing before jumping on a plane for hours. This place provides not only massages but also nail services including manicures and pedicures. I have yet to try this since most of the time I already have one but super excited to get one at another time. They also have facials and waxing (pretty sure not included with priority pass) but awesome to have the option available. read more

Thanks to my priority pass, I was able to give this a try while I was waiting for my flight at JFK Terminal 5. I got to the airport around 8am so at that time it wasn't very busy. I added myself to the waiting list cause no one was at the front desk, but as soon as someone saw my "help me I'm lost" eyes, he scanned my Priority pass and hooked it up for me! I did the massage chair service for a half an hour which was nice to do before a 5 hour flight. As far as chair massages go, it was one of the better ones I've experienced. I literally stumbled on this place while waiting for my flight to board earlier this week. It's been a while since I've been to JFK and it seems like the entire world population is traveling right now. The terminal was very people-ey and there were no seats available near my gate.....so finding this little haven was perfect. I had a terrible headache and thought, "maybe this will help?" It helped!! It helped a lot. Decided to sit in one of their massage chairs and get a head and neck massage while doing so. BEST thing that happened to me all day. You can definitely find better spa elsewhere outside of the airport. So I had a good and bad experience at be relax spa at JFK Terminal 1 .I got the best pedicure by Bonita she did amazing and made sure I was comfortable and Treated right. But I observed unprofessional attitude from the staff at the register napping away at the front desk while costumer stand waiting to be checked out. Even a costumer came in with a wheelchair and the lady at the front desk was rude to her. I also saw her being rude and rolling her eyes at the other workers I feel sorry for the other workers having to put up with her. The lady at the front desk made me feel very uncomfortable. I got the classic manicure just to pass the time. The staff was really nice but I feel like my service was rushed to get to another customer whose flight was leaving soon. The polish does not extend fully across my nails, there are tons of bubbles in the polish and a 'dent' in one of the nails from the technician bumping the wet polish with her hand and not fixing it. Overall, everyone was really nice. But the quality versus how much I paid ($50) was not on par. I would still say it was a good way to pass the time. But not entirely worth the price. read more

My first visit at JFK terminal 1 at this spa looks very encouraging but i am very disappointed, after my husband waited for about one hour and twenty min he was call for a head and shoulder massage. He have a really bad shoulder pain so I was so happy when he got call before our flight take off. About 5 minutes my husband returned holding his shoulder ,the woman took some sort of device and press it into my husband shoulder that make his pain worsen as he got up and leave . So my question is she qualified to do massages ? Some one needs to look into this before some one hurt seriously ,my husband was in pain until we reach our destination i got him some pain killers. Came to JFK early so I could get the 30 minute massage that comes with Priority Pass. App said they were open until 10pm, I arrived at 7:20pm and they told me they were closed. Very unapologetic, too, and didn't seem to care if Priority Pass had the wrong hours (or did the staff just close early?) I could have gone to another terminal for lounge access but was out of time by the time I found out they weren't open as advertised. Called Priority Pass and they said they've never been informed the hours aren't correct. Don't really care who's fault it is, awful experience from both Be Relax and Priority Pass both. I had a little bit of time to kill before my flight and decided to check out this priority pass perk, since there isn't any lounge access here. I was skeptical based on recent reviews, but I actually had a great experience here! Priority pass lists 4 options to choose from, and there's no menu or description at the spa. When I arrived, I scanned the QR code to add myself to the waitlist, but someone came just in time to help me. I was just going to do the 30 min massage chair, but she recommended the head massage. I didn't know if that was in the chair or done by someone and to my surprise, it was both! It's only 10 mins, but it was an amazingggg 10 mins. She reclined my chair and turned on the foot massage function, then did a real head, neck, and shoulder massage. It was exactly what I needed! I can understand that if you come at a busy time, there could definitely be a long wait or rude customer service. There were only 2 people working, and I think only 1 could provide the services. Literally erased my name off of the wait list after they said they'd call, when I went to ask after an hour of waiting, they said the weren't able to accommodate me because some other people were next in line - those people arrived after and wrote their name after I had already put mine down. I looked at the waitlist and my name was gone. I was next in line per the original waitlist and the lady couldn't bother communicating with me and just kept staring at me where I was waiting in the general seating section as she accommodated 3-4 people when I was supposed to have been next. in casual athleisure could pay a nice tip or they didn't want to accommodate a PriorityPass. Stopped here for my free massage before my long flight back home. Service was great. The lady who helped me check in and got me going was very nice and friendly. Didn't catch her name. She even offered a towel to cover my eyes so I can relax without the bright lights beaming into my eyes. Only down fault and it has nothing to do with the place is that the airport is just way too loud. Thankfully, I was able to sit towards the back of this small place and pop in my ear pods to listen to relaxing music otherwise it would just be plain loud from the airport noise. I went in with a Priority Pass thinking I would get a quick massage chair experience. As soon as I walked in the door, Alla was incredible. There wasn't a spot at the 30 min chair but there was for the 30 minute complete massage for an extra $10... pretty sure I was upsold but it was worth every penny of it. A cross between relaxing and working some very deep kinks out of my back, thighs, feet, shoulders.... Heck, if I could afford it I would buy my own chair. Here i was at the Terminal-1 JFK, after my tiring over night flight from SLC-UTAH to JFK. I was terribly tired and had the stress of my next connecting ahead that was going to be Non-Stop 12 Hrs flight again, but then as i walked in this Spa i was greeted by this amazingly professional lady called "EWA" who seemed to dedicated to her work and handling of her clients was so meticulous that one actually forgot time that one was at the airport terminal. Her knowledge & her communication about the skin care, her products she used for this quick refreshing treatment at the airport was absolutely out of this world. Her professionalism was unmatchable. I had a hideously long layover after a hideously long flight and, honestly, I just wanted to lie down. I asked for an hour long massage, filled out the paperwork, went in and... I am a new woman! Etch is a miracle worker! I want solid pressure but not pain. He was perfect. Thorough, effective, kind, and he found knots I didn't know I had that melted like magic with a combination of deep work, gentle stretching and longer strokes. My flight was delayed by an hour but I was lucky to see Be Relax at Terminal 5 near my gate. The waiting time was less than 10min when I was called into the salon. I explained to Alla, who happened to be also Russian speaking, that I had a full 30min and that my legs hurt after a day of walking around Niagara Falls the day before. Alla suggested a 30-min foot and ankle massage and it was the best recommendation ever! I was in bliss for my 30minutes and still am half way through my flight.
