One star. I paid for PDO threads via Groupon. After a legitimate emergency forced a late cancellation, management canceled my appointment, redeemed my voucher without providing any service, and then insisted on a $100 surcharge to reschedule. During the cancellation call, no one disclosed they would redeem my Groupon--I only learned that afterward. They later claimed the policy was in a confirmation email/text I never received. This conduct reads as exploitative and shows a lack of integrity. Take your face--and your money--somewhere reputable. read more

Came for microneedling because I saw the great reviews on google and realized something was off. They probably delete bad reviews because in yelp you see all of the bad reviews. Did Not find the place hygienic. She barely cleaned my face with a baby wipe and not alcohol based. (I'm also a nurse who has worked in med spas and performed this procedure myself) They don't use proper numbing cream for the face, (I've gotten microneedling done several times over the years, I just had some time to kill in the city that day so I randomly booked this place because It was close by) if you want "the good one" you have to pay extra for that numbing cream. First med spa I've seen done that ever. And nurse who did my procedure said i was the first go complain that It hurt.. brushed It off. Would not return and would not recommend. I don't recommend this place. I had good results the first time, but when I went back 13 days ago for the same treatment with the same amount of units, I saw no results at all. Their explanation was that the units were split between two areas, which makes no sense -- I only requested treatment for my forehead and never asked for anything else. This time I was seen by a male doctor who seemed rushed and unprofessional. Their solution was for me to come back and pay the full amount again to redo the treatment. HORRIBLE experience. They advertised a Brow Lift with up to 20 units and after 3 injections on each side (2 minutes) only 6 total he said it was all done. When I asked a question the man acted liked he did not understand English. I said your website said 20 units, a complete Brow Lift. He said he did not understand the questions and I had to deal with the front desk. The front desk said she does not under the medical procedure so she should not comment. I got PDO thread lift with Dr. Lev. I had some drooping in my lower face and I wanted some lift in my jowl line. He recommended barbed lift thread. He explained the procedure step by step and numbed me first. I didn't feel anything other than some pressure and pulling. I am so happy with the result. I do appreciate a fast turn around time and genuine materials that are been injected, however I do NOT appreciate that not all filler is been injected (not 1ml) that I ma paying for but much LESS deeming more natural results are desired or I am young and do not need more than injected to face. I do understand that some injectors are striving for a more natural look but as you know lips are swollen after injection and after swell is gone you actually 'see' a real you what was paid to BE REJUVED, please inject all fillers customers are paying for either lips or cheeks, I will appreciate an honesty if I were to return but most likely I will not because there are majority of other cosmetology places in area. I scheduled 2 appointments with Jane. She didn't show up the 2nd time. She conveniently couldn't see the text chain screenshots I sent where she confirmed the appointment & also conveniently didn't have access to the number we were texting on. I waited outside in that crappy part of town for 20 mins, and she couldn't muster up an apology. Been to Be Rejuved three times. Dr. Zak is so thorough on all procedures. He is skilled, efficient and takes more time to make sure the procedure is done properly than I have ever seen in any other medical spa I have ever been. Jane is also extremely experienced and accommodating; will go out of her way to answer all questions and schedule your service on your time schedule! They really care about their clients and the work they perform is top of the line and prices are extremely reasonable. He is not a doctor. Lev Zak call himself a doctor when in fact, he is not a doctor it makes him a fraudulent . Not only I had a traumatic experience, but now I'm I am experiencing discomfort, swallowing and bombs in one side of my face. I reach out to Jane "the nurse" and requested his credentials. Janes refused and her response was the following : " Dr Zak is AAFE trained and certified for PDO and all credentials available upon request at the clinic" I know I should've done that the minute I walked into his office however I went along with the reviews from Groupon which I should've never done. I googled him on the New York State decision profile and also on WW.NY doctors profile effect and there are no records of him.
