I had an Aborist determine the cost of the damage and it was starting at a minimum of $30,000. I have sent a demand notice to them for Compensation and they rejected the certified letter. They claim to have insurance but have not filed a claim. They have been avoiding us. So at some point now we will have to take legal action to collect for damages. We are retired, and rely on the fruit trees we have on our property. We sell the fruit (organic avg. $2.50 ea.) This helps pay taxes and other expenses. If I was looking for a tree service, I would read my complaint a couple times before you hire anyone. Take this all in for consideration.

Kyle said he would swing by in the afternooon that day and he showed up after an obvious tough days work.. He looked at the tree, gave me a price and said he would cut it immediately. When I called him the month later to come back he's said his stump grinding machine broke, I tried him again now a month later and he's now saying he never said that and they don't do stump grinding. Now I'm stuck with a remaining large bottom tree that he won't come back to finish the job. I don't recommend this company at ALL! He's a liar and only trying to make a dollar from hard working people. It's sad we live in a world where people just take advantage of customers who do a verbal agreement. My fault for trusting him but I want to share to warn innocent people to avoid them going through this issue. They also gave me a VERY reasonable estimate to brush hog the empty lot next to my house that I have purchased. Accepting the offer, I scheduled with the company to do my house first, and later had to ask them to change the date as I would not be in the area on the original date. Brian offered an earlier date which was perfect for me. They showed up on time, and with the proper equipment...and long story short, I was absolutely thrilled by the job they completed....all in one day. A fantastic job at a more than reasonable cost. I simply could NOT have asked for a better job, and will rely on In The Son not only for the upcoming brush hogging of my empty lot, but also for recommending new plants for open beds, and semi-annual maintenance of my existing landscape. He was very reasonably priced and was careful to keep the cost down since I am just fixing up to sell. He came out on a day that I wasn't even home and did everything exactly like we had discussed. The house looks so good I almost don't want to sell it! He also called immediately after I got home to be sure I was happy with the work. Will continue to use him for maintenance. I called and had a Wonderful estimate in my home with the 2 nicest women. I needed mulching and weeding done on ALL my beds. The tree rings needed to be reestablished.Zoe & his right hand worker came. I explained somethings and they got to work. To say that the BLACK mulch was so black it was amazing.( I used to get the junk in the bags from one of the 2 box stores.) It Pops in my beds against all my green & Flowering plants. Unfortunately, things went downhill when they returned after the driveway installation. I wasn't home when the driveway crew put sod down, but Shayne immediately came in frustrated and upset about it, even though I had no knowledge of the situation and assumed it was all part of the irrigation process. The overall experience became uncomfortable. It felt like the work was dragged out unnecessarily, and they replaced sprinkler heads in the backyard that were already functioning properly. I was then charged a much higher amount than what had originally been discussed. When we got to the backyard, I was told there were broken pipes under the pool deck, but no estimate or clear pricing could be provided. The conversation escalated into an argument, and I ultimately asked them to leave the property because I no longer felt comfortable. He even made comments about the cameras on my property, which added to the tension. In the end, we disputed the invoice because additional charges including trencher equipment that I believed should have been included as part of the project were added without being clearly discussed upfront. After pushing back, we eventually settled somewhere in the middle. I always try to support local businesses, but communication, transparency, and professionalism matter. Unfortunately, this experience left me disappointed.
