It's a professional service and the staff are very pleasant. The best thing is the low cost because a cut costs me only £6 (I was quoted £50 in a different hairdressers in Neath over a year ago!!!) It's been hacked to pieces with long and short bits all over and shaved at the back so all I can do is hope it grows quickly. It was cheap (£7) and I got what I paid for, well actually I didn't, it was overpriced by £6.50. I'm going to go to a proper salon in town on Monday and hope they can rescue it somehow so in the end it will have cost me more than if I'd gone somewhere decent in the first place. I was particularly impressed by some of the soaps and skin creams - but my favourite low-price purchase was 100 black refuse sacks for only £1.99! After a morning of calling around several salons in the Neath area to find that they were all booked as it was such short notice, I was sceptical that the cut would be to standard as Maddame Buttercly had availability. No good salon has empty seats right? ... Wrong! I suffer with anxiety and depression and going anywhere new makes me feel quite uncomfortable but I was put right at ease immediately. I never leave a review or write any form of feedback, even for bad service I generally don't complain, so I thought I would sing their praises as I have been left feeling extremely happy with their service, the cut is lovely and exactly what I asked for. Cannot recommend this Salon enough! A visit is a must!
