After explaining I wouldn't of made an appointment on a day that I have practice he agreed to fit me in before leaving Saturday to go home. I show up 10 minutes early just in case he was waiting on me, just so I could watch him lock up his shop and leave. Legit tried to ditch out 10 minutes before my appointment...that he set. Never felt more disrespected as a customer. Especially since I had yearbook pictures for our ball team on Monday and was not able to get my haircut before pictures. The shop is extremely clean. It's not a mess like some of the other shops in town, where they have holes in furniture and magazines and papers everywhere. After talking with her, she explained the different treatments she offers, I went ahead and booked an appointment for microplaning with her before hanging up. I love the name, a play on "steel" scissors (hair cuts) and steam (facial services). My facial was very relaxing. It was nice to chat with Aubrey as she worked. She does the microplaning first - the skin is dry, so the razor gets more of the dead skin as opposed to wetting the skin. My appointment lasted an hour and a half. I felt I definitely got my money's worth ($70).
