Most chaotic and dysfunctional company that I ever worked at. The salaries are abhorrently low (UK publicly funded company), so the company attracts some of the dumbest, laziest, whiniest and least talented people on the planet. If you work in the NYC office, please beware of Rebecca Glashow. Rebecca looks like Joan Rivers before Joan Rivers had all the surgery, and Rebecca is even uglier on the inside than she is on the outside. With a permanent scowl on her face, Rebecca is the most senior person in the NYC office, and since her manager works in the UK, she feels comfortable spewing her misery and self-hatred onto everyone in the NYC office, and especially her assistants. She's obviously a token diversity hire since she's a woman, as she has no work ethic, regularly destroys expensive work hardware like her laptop, she adds little to no value to the company, and she regularly comes in late and disheveled. She's erratic, and emotionally volatile and unstable, and she spends most of the day (she rarely if ever works a full day) on personal non-work related tasks. She abuses her assistants and has them do the vast majority of her work. She also verbally abuses chauffers and anyone who she feels she can get away with verbally assaulting and abusing. She was terminated from all of her other companies, which she took a job at BBC with their super low salaries. People like Rebecca make me absolutely certain that Hell is real. Do yourself a favor and steer clear of this company and it's reigning old hag, Rebecca Glashow. Also beware of Monique in HR, who also does nothing, mostly works from home, and speaks like she's an illiterate, and as you might imagine, Monique is also obviously a diversity hire. BBC is obsessed with virtue signaling "diversity" hiring and non-merit based hiring. read more
