Averaging $3+ for each cup of boba tea is pretty good in this city, especially since their one size is a large size at other locations. Make sure to ask for their stamp card, as they don't readily offer, but have a small sign posted about it. It would be more convenient if they could go digital with their stamp card! I'm not likely to remember to bring the physical stamp card, but I would definitely have my phone! I've had their milk tea and their ice milk. Both drinks are slightly watered down. You can ask for light ice, but even then the drink is still diluted. If you don't enjoy super sweet drinks, make sure you take the sweetness down to 75%. The interior is small but bright. There are 3-4 small to medium sized tables, and they have free wifi and games. It's a nice spot to chill with friends, but gets awfully loud when it is filled. This would not be a place to stay and study! Street parking is available, though not in abundance. Cash only as well. With more well known places like tpumps, teaway, and supercue, it's hard to compete, but bb tea station makes consistently good drinks and has so many other options! Bb has milk tea, snow ice, iced milk, yogurt, latteas, flavored tea, and even coffee! I like the fact that they have a lot of different flavors to choose from; I especially like the fruity ones! The menu looks complicated at first, but just know that the dots next to the fruit flavors in the rows going down correspond to which flavors you can get for the drinks on the top columns. I usually get peach green milk tea with boba, or passion green milk tea with boba! The drinks here always have the perfect amount of sweetness, and the boba is perfectly chewy! The iced milk drink with caramel, pudding, and boba is also reallly good! My bf really likes the taro black milk tea here (even though it's a weirdish color, lol). My first time here, I had a defective lid and the straw wouldnt budge through. Every time I jabbed it in, some of the drink would come up, making it impossible to poke in. I was obviously struggling at the counter and the worker (literally a foot away), was just watching me and putting stickers on the cups.. Hot Lavender milk green tea was superb! I have been to so many tea places in the area and this is one of them that really specializes in herbal/ infused tea. They have lots of options. Service was quick and friendly. Plus, there were no long crazy lines like the one you would find in Tpump or Purple Cow. I used to like Quickly (see how ive upgraded?) until i realized that it was starting to give me stomach upset. I switched to Tpump/Purple cow but the quality was no comparison to others like this one. After drinking Tpump for awhile, i would get a stomach upset from the acidity in it (not sure why). BB Tea isn't the best boba shop in town by any stretch, but it's certainly passable, so if you're seeking a quiet place to laptop camp when writing Yelp reviews, it should fit the bill. In this part of town, TFM closes a tad too early, and Super Cue doesn't really have any comfortable seating, so BB Tea fills this void. The decor is a bit strange, although according to some previous reviews, apparently there initially was more elaborate theming. I wonder what caused the change. Of the times I have visited, it has never been busy. As a matter of fact, on a recent Saturday evening in August, many of the latenight establishments along Noriega, including Golden Island a few doors down, were packed to the rafters, but the staff at BB Tea was more busy swatting flies (a Chinese phrase to indicate a lack of business). I was pretty much the only customer in the entire store from 10 pm to midnight. However, if they can manage to stay afloat, this certainly works for me! As far as the drinks go, I'd say it is in the middle of the pack for SF. It's not quite at Little Sweet status, but is more favorable to a place like Teaspoon. I surely wouldn't drop by BB Tea just for their offerings, but as mentioned, it makes for a great study spot. One oddity is that the high chairs seem a bit too tall for the small tables, to the point where even a manlet like me is forced to hunch over slightly. In quick spurts, this is perfectly fine, but over a prolonged period, it may not be the most ergonomic. As UC Davis Aggies, the hubby and I love cows and BB Tea Station have quite the adorable design. It has been a little over two years since our first visit and we were more than ready to determine if this place was the real boba deal. Parking around the area isn't too tough, considering it is San Francisco, but do keep in mind that all parking is metered so don't forget to bring your coins. The parlor itself is roomy enough with some seating for a hang out and the menu is nicely placed on a wall beside the cashier, making for easy reading. I personally like how they have a poster of their top ten drinks and then a color coded chart where you can choose your milk tea, iced drink, fruit tea, and smoothie. Definitely take your time to look at that! The hubby wanted to get the honeydew milk tea with grass jelly while I chose one of their popular drinks, the iced milk with grass jelly and boba. The cashier was a very friendly guy who was more than eager to help and provided great service. Prices are incredibly inexpensive, totaling a little under $7 for the both of us. I will have to admit that I do hate the "cash only" policy. My hubby greatly enjoyed the honeydew milk tea, noting how fresh and smooth it tastes. The fruit flavor blended well with the green tea and the silkiness of the grass jelly added a nice refreshing component. My iced milk was blended together and while it was perfect to have on a hot day, I do wish it was a tad bit sweeter. Thankfully, the boba itself was coated with a delectable honey syrup, so my sweet tooth wasn't too disappointed. Even after two years, the hubby and I are still happy with BB Tea Station. The pancake was souffle enough and mouth full of egg flavor. I asked my strawberry sauce to be put aside just in case the sauce might be too sweet, but it wasn't. Great boba place on Noriega! I came here on a Friday at around 4pm, and it was pretty busy! There's three ways you can order drinks: order online by scanning a QR code, ordering at the outdoor kiosk, or ordering with a server inside the shop. I initially tried to order online, however, it didn't have all of the flavors listed on their menu, so I opted to order inside. I got a peach yogurt smoothie, which tasted delicious. The service was also quick and efficient. They even use a microphone to call out orders to people waiting outside. Parking is usual street and residential parking on/near Noriega. From that list, I am a fan of the BB Iced Milk with boba and pudding; and mango snow ice with boba. Bubble milk tea with black tea base is my go-to category. The last time I came here was four years ago, but I decided to come here today because Tpumps is closed for renovation :'( I was shocked at how crowded the shop was compared to years before. It seems to have become a popular hangout spot for students to hang out after school and do homework in. We ordered a couple drinks. The yogurt drink is probably one of the most bizarre boba drinks I've had. I thought it would have more of a tea consistency, similar to the ones at other places. Instead, I felt as though I had stuck a straw through my carton of breakfast yogurt. To be fair, they did have a handwritten note under this menu item saying, "NOT YAKULT." The iced milk drink was good, similar to that of Purple Kow or Bubblecup. You can customize sweetness/ice levels, and the milk drink definitely would've tasted better if it had been less sweet. Service-wise...meh. There was only one employee working, so it was slow and we waited for over 15 minutes. The group that came in after us got all four of their drinks before we did, which was annoying. My favorite drink to get is the strawberry yogurt with boba. The drink is perfectly sweetened and tart, I love it! I also enjoy getting the caramel one, it's just as good but I prefer fruitier flavors when I come to BB Tea. The boba here is usually really good, I've never had bad boba from here. The boba is warm and chewy, just how it should've be. And it even is sweetened so the boba itself has a nice flavor. The service is nothing special, they'll accommodate what you need but it's more of an order and get on with your day type of place. The drink had a very creamy texture but the boba here was a bit too sweet. I really liked their logo here though. The downside was that I could not find any signs of a trash can inside the shop but they were actually in the planters outside.
