Warszawa, Poland. There are 2 locations with this name: one is a train station and one is a…read morerestaurant. Make sure you end up in the restaurant, about 10 min walk from train station.
First, the late evening visit for dinner was cool b/c it was not busy and I was seated outside. I love the garden /patio feel to the restaurant. Inside, if you prefer to sit, there is a large restaurant setup, very comfy with an open kitchen, visible to pretty much everyone in the restaurant on the first and second floor.
The food was exceptional. It was my first night in Warsaw and wanted to experience a modern take on tPolish dishes. The cold beet soup, beet greens with a quail egg was super delicious. The schnitzel was excellent and it came with unforgettable mashed potatoes and a cold cucumber, yogurt and dill salad. I also tried red Polish wine, a Cabernet. And that too was also very good.
Service was super attentive granted I came at 10 o'clock in the evening on a weeknight, and English was spoken fluently by everyone I dealt with.
This is a converted factory space , it is in the middle of an island of businesses, so your Uber driver will pick you up about 200 feet to the left of the restaurant as you walk out.
Definitely will come back, on my next visit to Warsaw.
