Exceptional Spa Inside an amazing Hotel…read more I knew the St. Regis would not disappoint, so I went in with high expectations that they not only met but exceeded! We were not guests here so we asked in the entrance and all the gentlemen up front, reception ladies on the mid floor, and spa reception were so well trained I was very impressed especially having worked YEARS in hospitality. If you are not a guest you have to get a minimum treatment per person of something like $130 USD and then $20 for a day pass. For both my friend and I it was a little over $300 but worth every second. We both got a 60 minute full body massage; it was my first one ever. The masseuse was so knowledgeable, kind, and serene. I was nervous for the experience and she melted it all away. Oh man I felt like a new person after this hour, and to top it off they gave me complimentary champagne. We spent from like 2pm-9pm here and it was were every Penny. Highly recommend!

My boyfriend and I went here for a relaxing Valentine's Day while in CDMX and that's exactly what we got. We started our day with a workout on the 15th floor with breathtaking views of the city. Then we enjoyed the pool and spa area followed by steams and a sauna. Then we enjoyed our afternoon massage! I had Daniel as my massage therapist and he was great. I like medium to deep pressure. His English was also very good, bonus! I would highly recommend him. I would recommend eating a huge breakfast before you come in as they don't have food readily available, just snacks in the locker room. (Fruit, nuts, water)

Absolutely the best of service at this hotel. Every single staff member was honestly gracious,…read morehelpful beyond any other 5 star hotel we've ever been to. We were there for 3 nights to supplant another hotel. This is a contemporary Polanco hotel, not a quirky Condesa hotel, (which we normally like), but we opted for great AC, king bed, great breakfast, etc.

First time staying at this hotel while on business trip with a side of museum visits (Soumaya and…read moreAnthropology). This is the best hotel I've stayed at in CDMX on approximately 30+ trips here. This includes the W (nope), Westin (uh-uh), Sheraton (chaos, if there's a demonstration - and there usually is one ongoing), even the St. Regis, Ritz-Carlton and JW Marriott - all too stuffy. Santiago from NJ, by way of the NYU Shanghai campus, was excellent and almost everyone here speaks English perfectly. I felt like I was in NYC, except that the service was better and the staff was much more accommodating. Breakfast was included, nothing spectacular, but everything was solid, good coffee, fresh fruit, fresh pastries, good jams and yogurt. Perfect, light start to the day. The room was not big, but well laid out with every amenity, refrigerator, beverages, Nespresso machine, bottled water and a selection of assorted snacks - all complimentary (except alcohol, unnecessary with all the good bars nearby). The gym was literally situated in a single hotel room on the lower floor. It was tiny, but fully equipped for a one-person, HIIT session. The single issue was the incessant bass drone from the bar nearby. Earplugs didn't work because it wasn't possible to mask the low Hz frequency effectively. Every major museum was about a 25 minute stroll through scenic neighborhoods to get to. Some of the best restaurants (Nobu, Sylvestre) were around the corner. All in all this is probably the best place to stay in CDMX. If not for the bass from the bar, which was totally not the hotel's fault, this was probably the quietest hotel I've ever stayed in Mexico (no children or pets, I think, but not sure). No drunk teens shouting in the hallways - idyllic. About $500-$700/night depending on date. Totally worth it.

Located in the InterContinental Hotel, the prices reflect. An 80 minute massage with a customary…read morehigh end tip of 15% came out to about $2400 MXN, or $125 US. The massage itself was very good hence the 15% tip though the bed was not the most comfortable. I'm 6'1 and my head barely fit in the insert so when I didn't want my windpipe getting crushed I had to move my head up so that my eyes were pressed against the pillow. When I got tired of that I shifted down to let my windpipe get crushed again. And I went back and forth like that for the full 80 minutes so I never truly felt relaxed. I also wasn't a fan of the two hairs I had to pluck off the bed before I got under the covers. Who knows what was underneath. I didn't dare bother to look after what I saw out in plain view. The jacuzzi to start was relaxing and the complementary tea was a nice touch but the Jamaica water upon completion sucked. I wish the locker room had a steam room or a sauna to finish the job before my shower but no dice.

Beware of this spa! The prices that are presented in the…read morehotel room are not the most up to date prices. In fact, the price listed was $1955 mxp for 80 min when in fact the price is now $2400 mxp. Also, the lady only gave me a 71 minute massage instead of 80 minutes. Then the receptionist forced my friend to tip on both my reservation and her reservation instead of letting us check out separately. I would not recommend this spa because I had to waste my time later trying to get to the bottom of the discrepancy in the charge. Don't waste your time here!
