We arrived shortly before dinner and enjoyed wonderful wine and hors d'oeuvres before dinner. The staff was amazing, the food even better. Even though we were with a large group, service was spot on for the 3+ hours we dined. Between courses we stepped out onto to the patio to enjoy the beautiful mountain scenery and, of course, the air! LOL Dessert and coffee were also divine, served individually from a tray of selections. We all tried bites of a very desserts! Yum! The red Pinot Nero and Barbera wines served are some of the best. The service and hospitality is excellent. The restaurant and hotel are run by 3rd and 4th generation family. If you find yourself in this beautiful part of Lombardia pay this place a visit. The prices are very reasonable. I have stayed at the hotel and found it to be very comfortable. I plan to stay at the hotel again on my next visit to Pavia which should be in the next few months.
