Drove around Belmullet and saw their sign. All of their rooms were available. This is not a top notch B&B. Reasonably priced, excellent view of the bay and very clean, but very sparse on amenities. No shampoo or conditioner, but hand pump type bottle of soap. They don't take credit cards with the excuse that their machine is not working. There are no main floor rooms for the disabled. All rooms are upstairs. In fact it looks like they converted the attack to several rooms. I asked Michael for some ice for having a Jameson in the room and he said they had no way to make ice. That is hard to believe. Who doesn't have ice trays? He suggested that I go to a convenience store down street and buy a bag of ice. There are no glasses in the room for our nightly cocktail so we used the coffee cups. Mary was very accommodating by letting us have large room for the same price. She also recommended a good restaurant, Talbot's Seafood Bar. read more
