F.J's in Bayswater stocks discounted tools, building & gardening supplies…read more I consider F.J's to be the place you go to stock up on your home gardening gear, or to grab some tools for the shed. Not exactly the place for top of the line gear, F.J's stock the budget versions of tools you'd find at Bunnings or Mitre 10. The tools do the job but aren't the kind you'd kit out yourself with if you were a full time tradie. Also stocking wheelbarrows, and a range of uniforms, usually of the hard yakka or fluro persuasion, it's a good place to grab the things you need without battling the often-overwhelming Bunnings crowds and range.

Staff didn't seem to understand what the problem was so I raised the matter with the manager who called me a 'retard' and a 'fucking idiot' before telling me and my 3yo daughter to leave the store. ...not recommended (unless you're interested in poor service from unprofessional staff who will abuse you instead of helping).

We had our rock delivered, and it arrived the same day, and they went out of their way to dump it somewhere convenient for us to access and move ourselves. With a huge range of different colours and grades of crushed rock, stone and sand, Big Rock know their stuff, and if I was into corny writing, I'd say they rock...
